Sounds like someone's trying way too hard to be relevant. I prefer whatever it is that Rothbard did. He didn't have much of an impact at first, but his ideas, works and organizations still influence people over twenty years after his death, and there is no stopping in sight.

The Russian libertarian party has an interesting opinion on this, they say that they don't actually plan on winning any elections except local ones, and they exist only as a propaganda machine to educate people on libertarianism and force them to question the idea of "the state".
