Why not? Using a service provided over a commodity good would certainly be clunky Especially once you start taking quality of blowjobs into account, but it's certainly workable. If it still rustles your jimmies the prisoners could start creating tradable IOUs for sexual favors to exchange instead of sodomizing each other after each transaction. Eventually these writs of debt could evolve into a full-on currency. The Anus Standard, if you will.

 No.78779

Can you then use your verbal assertion that you got two blowjobs to buy something off someone else?

Is your ability to talk about having a blowjob then consumed or severed?

Nah. They''re totally doing the labor voucher thing. An idea I never got the point of, but there it is.

It's pretty neat how cigarettes always evolve into a currency in prisons and POW camps. because we have much better mediums of exchange, even in prison. No one is saying that sex is actually a good currency.

>>78847

The buttsex is still the actual currency, the IOUs are simply acting as banknotes that the bearer can redeem for sodomy instead of precious metals.

>>78826

Blowjobs would be like silver, and mostly used for smaller transactions compared to anal.

 No.78879

>>78876

> The buttsex is still the actual currency

But that's wrong

 No.78923

 No.78926

>>78923

The banknotes would be the currency, what they are backed by is irrelevant. Buttsex cannot act as currency because it is consumed during exchange. If you sell a coat for buttsex, you won't have that buttsex to give away for a Bible. It's nonsense.

 No.78930

>>78926

You still have a cavity that is always ready for more buttsex. The "sex" is consumed, not the "butt."

 No.78931

>>78926

No, there's still a transfer of services. You gain whatever euphoria your degenerate self gains from buttsex, and the other guy loses calories. Under an Anus Standard, you could cash in any of the IOUs in your possession for some sodomy. It's a really shitty standard of exchange because buttsex isn't a commodity good, butt it could be made to work.

 No.78932

>>78931

There's exchange but you can't give the buttsex away. If I have a coat and want a Bible I can sell it for coins and I'm sure that that coins can be further exchanged for that Bible that I want. The coins represent the future fulfilment of my want for a Bible, that's why I am willing to give the coat away for them. Not so with the buttsex. If I give the coat away and in exchange you let me fuck you in the ass there's no way I could get that Bible to help me with my relationship with G-d. All I am left with is no coat and guilty feelings about my degeneracy.

 No.78933

>>78932

Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it couldn't conceivably be a currency. If I have a gluten allergy, grain is still a possible medium of exchange.

I think his point is less that he doesn't like it and more that it isn't tangible. Receiving buttsex might (or might not) have personal value to you, but once it's over with you can't trade whatever value you've received to another person.

Sex is not a currency fam.

For sex to be a currency, it has to be something portable, it has to be a measure of value and consequentially a count of units. Sexual favors are just that, a service, they're not something tangible.

 No.79025

It's a commonly accepted medium of exchange. If enough people started pricing their goods in blowjobs, sex would be a currency.

Those things just make something better at being a currency.

>>79025

Are you pretending to be retarded? Even a libertarian cannot be this stupid. Do you not understand what "medium of exchange" means? It means that the exchange is done through it, it is its medium. In the banter situation if you have a coat and want to exchange it for a Bible, you have to find somebody who has a Bible and wants your coat. But if there's a medium of exchange, you can just exchange the coat for it, and then use it to further exchange that for the Bible. Obviously sex, or any other service, cannot be used as a medium of exchange as they are used up the same time they are produces and thus cannot be further exchanged. If people started pricing their goods in blowjobs it wouldn't become a currency, but the economy would degrade into a shitty banter system.

 No.79093

I can't believe this. How many times do we have to tell you that even if people started pricing everything in blowjobs, blowjobs wouldn't magically turn into currency, because they cannot circulate? Currency is not just "the unit of prices" or whatever the fuck you believe it to be, it has to fulfil very specific societal functions, which blowjobs obviously cannot.

Perform another sexual favor for the next exchange.

>or whatever the fuck you believe it to be

I've made the definition of currency that I'm using very clear. Don't blame me for your lack of reading comprehension.

Those things just make something a more convenient medium of exchange, and therefore more likely to see widespread adoption and become currency.

>which blowjobs obviously cannot

Which is why they haven't actually become a currency.

Honestly, this country has long since failed to live up to the false ideology it still purports. You could conceivably lie to yourself and believe the American mythology and tell yourself how great and good it all is and how god blessed the land with our presence, but you can't when that presence is then handed all the combined wealth of the old world empires over two world wars, and then proceeds to utterly fail to develop a vision or functional constructive philosophy, and falls back on pre-enlightenment medieval culture accomplishing nothing but self-defeating decisions 7 decades in a row.

The American century was last epcentury. The worlds Old Money merely waits, as it has done from empire to empire countless times, for the next more exciting up and coming nation of possibility. The US is not a developing nation, not because it achieves utopia, but because it lacks the ability to develop further. It's done.

It should be commonsense that these numbers can't be right, unless you've never made a serious effort to become fit or lose weight in your life. One double whopper, if google is to be believed, has about 250 calories. So according to this chart, if you're between twenty and thirty and living a "sedentary" lifestyle, you will lose weight if you eat nine double whoppers a day. Of course, that would be all you eat, but still, nine fatty, cheesy, greasy burgers while you sit on your computer all day and never leave the house except to go to McDonalds? You can't be serious.

And the "active" category is probably for people who are at least hobby athletes. I know I didn't lose much weight when I was 220 pounds and lifting weights three times a week, and I was eating significantly less than 2800 calories on most days of the week. Of course, professional lifters eat between 3000 and 4000 calories a day, but eating that much is such an integral part of their job, they could probably deduct their chicken wings from taxes.

My point being, being able to eat so much that you could make it as a professional powerlifter isn't something that you should take for granted. It's the equivalent of fancy suits and legal codes for a lawyer, or wine for a professional wine tester.
