Reason isn't the best, but it isn't 100% horrible. I get pissed about 60-70% of the time when I get it in the mail. It is not a scholarly libertarian outlet like the Mises Institute or Libertarian Papers, but a standard mainstream publication to compete with the other mainstream outlets. However, there are still some articles that focus more heavily upon economics than endless civil liberties. Keep in mind that many of editors do not agree with one another and there is a balance that is nice to see…sometimes. I only watch Reason for some of interviews (Bryan Caplan) and of course for my man Stossel.

I met some of the editors at one of the international conventions a few years back. I can reasonably say that everyone at Reason are spineless manchildren who are Gary Johnson-style libertarians at best, and Democrats trying to appeal to Republicans as the norm. They were extremely unprofessional and were more interested in seeing how many schmucks they could get to buy into their shit rather than on producing something both intellectually stimulating than fun.

Friendly reminder that if you're an entertainment outlet, you're supposed to put the entertainment out first, and the politics second. This is the reason so many Libertarian musicians are shite.

1"pragmatist" we currently live in a social democracy and the mechanics of that means it needs a strong border

2 "I hate it when the government does stuff" the majority of immigration comes over because they are literally shipped over, or because they want to reap some benefit at the taxpayers expense
