Russia's "influence" was no different than any other nation. (Barring some like America who actually knock off any leader they please.) They have state-run media outlets, and they're getting lit up because they didn't march in lockstep with the Cathedral. The people who believe the hoax are literally in disbelief as to how ZBLUMPF could win the election fair and square, and rather than look at the real causes, they would rather blame an outside party. Just because the aut-right says it's true doesn't mean it's not true.

It's mostly a meme perpetuated by cable news because it's doubling their ratings, but the deep state has their fingerprints all over this. Mueller is about as deep as they come - during his tenure in the FBI, he tried to squash an investigation into Saudi connections to the 9/11 hijackers. Lo and behold, the people he desperately tried to stop the agents from talking with were on the Saudi payroll. To think that this man will be impartial with Trump is a joke. Even so, they know they have nothing on him. They're just probing around hoping they find some connection to pin him to the wall with. It's a Hail Mary pass, pure and simple. It also has the side benefit of destroying the possibility of coordination with Russia in Syria, which continues the war they created there.

Russians do have involvement in fake accounts. Pretty much most powerful nations including the US do this. I think Russians had some attempt at interefering in the election but it was minimal. Really, I'd say it's more on Hillary being a shitty candidate and the corrupt DNC.
