>Now the U.S. resorts to arming the Kurds in an attempt to balkanize the region

Daily reminder that the SDF/YPG/PKK are commies and backstabbing scum not to be trusted. They are trying to steal the vast Syrian oil fields while the SAA is liberating Deir ez-Zor. They are nothing but a U.S. proxy army.

After ISIS, the Kurds are next. It's going to be hilarious seeing the Kurds get stomped by the Syrian/Iraqi alliance after they dare to declare an independent Kurdish state. The U.S. is trying to pull another Bosnia Herzegovina situation, carving up the region to weaken Syria. Fortunately that is not going to work because Russia watches like an eagle.

Reminder to everyone that the Kurds are not our friends. They murder innocent tourists.

No, but he's not the demon the US makes him out to be either. I legitimately believe he wants what's best for his people. This was clear on multiple occasions when he bent in to both US and Russian demands in order to try and limit the conflict in the region/keep the peace, even when he didn't think it was the best decision.

How much of a class cuck do you have to be to care more about materials then the general wellbeing of the public and the amount of personal freedom that the public has?

I get the why the Kurds want independence. It sucks to be a minority four hostile countries like Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Syria. Can you blame the Kurds when Saddam gasses your people and the Syrians and Iranians murder and imprison them by the hundreds? Truth be told Iraq should be split up with parts given to Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran and maybe Jordan to help establish an independent Kurdistan. So what if they are commies. The best way to deal with Commies in foreign countries is to let them destroy themselves and not try to fight them. Let socialism run its course like it did in the Soviet Union and Venezuela.

Wasn't the only reason Iraq exist because of WW1 where the British carved up the Middle East into these countries that don't fit with the natural borders and territories they historically had?

 No.67828

>>67826

Yeah and they became European proxies for Britain and France to extract the oil and when they finally did get independence there were few who could run divided countries outside of authoritarian military dictators and theocratic despots.

Because the Kurds are being used by America to balkanize the region. It's the same shit they pulled against Serbia in the 90's.

>Kosovo

>Bosnia

The SAA and Iraqi PMU are battle-hardened veterans now, so it's gonna be a joy watching the Kurds get shit on by the Arabs. You can't just take a piece of someone else's land and claim it as your own.

>le ebul socdems

Rosa Luxemburg would've betrayed the revolution, just as Lenin and his NKVD would have. The first signs of the rot were already there in the 1919 leadership of the Party.

Hate the facts all you want, but Nazism and Fascism were genuine expressions of national self-defense against, yes, the specter of Socialism, but also against the brutality and debauchery of the Bolsheviks.

More or less. You had the (declining) Ottoman Empire and a few independent localities, and the Brits/French carved it up in the specific hopes of creating infighting to prevent the rise of a caliphate that could join a war in North Africa. You can see how that plan backfired…

In reality if left to their own devices, a post-war Ottoman Empire would have balkanized into dozens of miniature countries that would probably have eventually conglomerated into a new Empire, but they would have had more individual freedom which could have prevented the shitty excuses for US interference that has lead us to where we are today.

Iraq was the region around the Tigris and Euphrates, mainly the southern portions and was centered around Baghdad. It was one of the regions of the Ottoman Empire (Syria was another, which at that time included Lebanon, which was separated from Syria because of the religious divide between the two countries, and Jordan which was separated from Syria so the British could have a contiguous land border from Cape to Canal to Crown Jewel). The northern areas of Iraq were not usually included in the region but were included in the State of Iraq created after WW1. Historically these northern regions were dominated by Kurds and Assyrians, as well as some other minorities.

>someone could have so they will

The only traitor I see is Trotsky cause he actually did betray the revolution. Just because Stalin could've become a class traitor it wouldn't mean he would've unless he did.

Again baseless accusations.

>believing Stalinist propaganda against Trostky

Then why did Lenin want Trostky to succeed him, and why did he describe Stalin as a dangerous, unhinged egomaniac?

If anything, Trotsky, being an internationalist, stayed more true to Lenin's/Marx's ideas than Stalin who was content to rule the USSR.

It's funny how things have changed since the cold war.

America is now the bad guy, the aggressor, propagandist and becoming socialist whereas Russia is the leader of the free world, capitalist/conservative and destroying terrorism.

How the tables have turned.

No it wasn't. Since the foundation towards about the 80's, America was great.

After Reagan, it kind of all went downhill. Clinton was a goof, Bush was a neo-con retard, Obama a lying piece of shit, and Trump is literally a clown/actor.

The Russians saw first hand how terrible socialism was, and that's why they have recovered to be the great conservative country they are today.
