Obama spoke to North Korea threatening to nuke them during his presidency and basically goaded then to try and start a war so he could tap those 3 trillion dollars worth of rare ores underneath the surface.

The Japs are becoming increasingly militant this decade. At least their government is. I can imagine we'll see a war with the Norks in the next decade, and China will likely get involved in an effort to prevent western forces from being at their doorstep, though they'll probably stab the Norks in the back to set up a satellite nation so the US can't build spying bases along the Chinese border directly.
