「狗一般趴地舔積水」 郭修銘RAP唱出傷友痛
八仙塵爆後，傷者之一的郭修銘（26歲）以創作的Rap歌曲「But Say」《但我想說》，為傷友唱出心聲，全身約40%面積2、3度燒燙傷的他說：「受傷不是我們願意，我們只是不幸遇到了一場意外，不該因此就被外界誤解、責備。」也表示每個傷者未來還需漫長復健，人生許多計畫也因此耽誤或改變，但他慶幸還好有親友跟許多關心的人的陪伴鼓勵，「讓我能正面積極地朝目標繼續努力。」
3年前，郭修銘在海軍陸戰隊林口營區服義務役，八仙塵爆那天，他正巧休假，因此和弟弟及多名友人相約到八仙樂園參加彩色派對，他回想意外發生時，舞台前方突然一片火光，起初還以為是聲光特效，不以為意，豈知正想轉身離開時，「整片火就朝身上席捲而來，四周突然都是火團，接著就聽到一堆人倒地哀號，我那時整個人被嚇傻了，也感覺不到痛。」郭修銘後來才知道，原來灼傷太嚴重，神經都已燒傷壞死。
當時現場相當混亂，郭修銘說：「我只感覺非常躁熱、很渴，身上的水分都被火燒到蒸發了。」眼見一旁花圃剛好有些滲出的水，為了生存，他毫不猶豫就像狗一樣趴下，舔地上積水止渴，好不容易借到手機，打了3通電話聯絡家人，卻都沒人接，「在最需要人幫忙時，卻不知道能找誰，那時感覺全世界都不要我了！」
郭修銘說，事發後快3小時，才被送上救護車送醫急救，家人收到軍方通報後才趕赴醫院，2周後才見到失散的弟弟，幸好弟弟傷勢不重。住院3個月，自己因傷勢嚴重，幾乎每天隨時都在等開刀，「清醒時的那種劇痛，真的會讓人生不如死。」而植皮、清創手術進行了約8次，「當時完全是靠家人、醫護人員和傷友的陪伴和支持，才撐了下來。」
郭修銘也曾忿忿不平：「怎麼會是我？世界怎麼會這麼不公平！」直至來到陽光基金會接受復健治療，看到很多更嚴重的傷者，加上傷友彼此打氣加油，才讓心情逐漸平復，傷勢好轉後，他還能鼓勵其他傷友，「這讓我相當開心，藉此慢慢走出陰霾。」
但他不諱言，八仙塵暴後社會上也出現不少負面批評，「有些人認為你們會受傷，是因為自己愛玩，當時也沒人願意為整個事件負責、道歉。」讓郭修銘感覺自己和其他傷友被誤解、被孤立，因此想替大家發聲，「如果用講的你們聽不懂，那我就用唱的。」他創作「But Say」《但我想說》這首歌，讓大家能在很短時間內，去了解整件事的經過和傷者心聲。
原本想當演員的郭修銘，目前在電視節目製作公司上班，工作時常需久站，腳部還是會刺麻不適，但同事幾乎都不知道他曾受過傷，他說：「別人做甚麼，我就做甚麼。」雖然曾遭遇到這樣的意外，但他不想因此獲得同情，也不希望別人對他有差別待遇，如今生活步上軌道，「我已逐漸朝理想邁進，也希望其他傷者能平安、堅強地活下去！」

八仙塵爆即將滿三周年前夕，導演吳星螢透過鏡頭把傷友故事拍成紀錄片「夢迴樂園」，期望對未來有警惕作用，也讓大眾看見傷友生命的韌性，新北市長朱立倫觀賞完紀錄片時除表示「我永遠不會忘記」外，更以紀錄片告訴大家「傷痕可以逐漸回復，但是我們不要忘記」。
夢迴樂園紀錄片的主角之一的28歲陳薇涵，原本擔任游泳教練，因為八仙塵爆導致全身68％燒傷，還因為反覆植皮失敗，歷經40次手術，成為最後一批出院傷友，她臉部因嚴重燒傷，只想躲在陽光照不到的角落。
陳薇涵從無法行走到用助行器，再回到小學教游泳，她說，「別人的目光會變成抗拒出門的原因」，但時間久了自己也習慣，「傷友不是要同情而是一種尊重」，能力也與一般人一樣。
29歲黃子羨說，面對這3年時間還沒辦法走過痛苦，相信放慢腳步，5年、10年一定有辦法跨越，「時間會帶走一切，心放下事情就過了」，就像遇到復健的困難，都會告訴自己要找尋勇氣面對。
朱立倫說，3年前的6月27日晚間9點多，接到消防局長電話，得知八仙樂園發生粉塵爆炸，有孩子受傷但詳細數字不知道，趕到現場看到那幕「我永遠不會忘記」，多少的傷友們躺在泳池旁邊，救護車載送傷友「心真的在淌血」。
朱立倫說，當時唯一能做的就是緊急調度所有資源，許多醫生、護士動員回到醫院緊急救援，隔天一早調集更多資源，還有國內外醫療體系，傷友出了醫療機構，面對更辛苦的重建，才能重返職場、學校。
陽光基金會董事長馬海霞也說，這提醒我們要更加重視公共安全，陽光也會成為後盾給予支持。

八仙事件三周年，不少傷友在日常生活飽受他人異樣眼光，找工作或重返職場更歷盡辛酸。陽光基金會新北重建中心主任賴秀雯感慨，傷友不但在現實中遭受不當對待，連接受媒體採訪，都常有酸民在網路報導下留言譏諷，讓傷友情緒很低落，願意受訪者越來越少。
賴秀雯說，燒燙傷患者受傷的外觀比較明顯，遇上第一次接觸燒燙傷患者的人，很容易被附加許多想像和顧慮，在職場尤其明顯。有位傷友受傷前是做服務業，雇主擔心疤痕嚇到客人，不讓他再回去工作；也有傷友雖重返職場，被同事要求穿長袖遮住疤痕。
被間接拒絕的傷友也不少。賴秀雯說，曾有傷友去面試，雇主告知「已經找到人」，但之後上網看，職缺明明還掛在上面，讓傷友深感雇主還沒認識自己工作能力，就因他外觀不給工作機會。
由於有太多傷友有類似經驗，陽光基金會一直積極推廣「臉部平權」，每年5月17日都會舉辦宣導活動，希望社會大眾從自身做起、影響別人。賴秀雯說，臉部平權關鍵並非要求大眾同情、同理傷友，而是「尊重」就好，因為這是身為人最基本的權利。「每個人都長得不一樣，有自己的特色、特質，為何要因對方的疤痕而有偏見？」
賴秀雯也指出，傷友除了在現實中因外觀受傷，連在網路上看不見外觀時，也仍然受傷。八仙逢周年時，陽光基金會曾邀幾位傷友接受媒體採訪，但卻遭網路酸民講很難聽的話，他們之後就不願意受訪，覺得自己「被標籤」。
八仙傷友黃博煒曾面對網路酸言謾罵，有人說他怎麼這麼自私，選擇活下來拖累家人；也有人嘲諷他復健沒多久，就會痛苦到想去自殺；或直接說他是醜八怪。但他都不會去回應，「這些質疑言論到現在三年了，已經不攻自破，因為我比他們想像中活得更好。」
