We've had plenty a space thread on here, but those typically focused on the outer space aspect of warfare with things such as kinetic bombardment, railguns, missile swarms and the occasional O'Neill cylinder.
What about warfare on the surface of various planets within our solar system however?
If man is ever to leave permanently expand his presence beyond earth it's only bound to happen at some point, especially when planetary infrastructure that neither warring party wants to nuke from orbit gets involved.
Would the low gravity of the Moon, Mars and other bodies in the solar systems make multi-turreted railgun landships feasible?
What kind of possibilities would Mars' dust storms open up for sneeki breeking?
What kind of firearm designs would be favored in various gravities, temperatures and atmospheres?
Would there be a point to nuclear armed subterrines for blowing up a rival mining prospect on a planetoid with a solid, low-mass interior?
