Yeah, but the price of comparable knives from Benchmade et al have risen by a similar proportion in the past few years. I'm not sure it's something you can tie to any one company, but just a general increase in demand for knives, as a result of muh EDC becoming the hot new fashion trend among redditors and jewtubers.

Buy a Del Tin repro if you want the best quality, historicity and price point mix. if you want the best possible sword made, you'd buy an Albion. Although even the shitty Deepeeka made ones are miles ahead of anything a roman furnace produced.
