The common people were a mixture of various peoples, but the most significant ones were the descendants of those Latin-speaking Orthodox Christians who migrated there from next to Albania. What set off the current backlash is their support for the ban on bumpstocks which makes possible the opportunity for a Democrat-run DoJ to ban match triggers and possibly semi-automatics altogether through a similarly forced reinterpretation of the law.
