US has become war-weary with recruitment down.

Europe's military is a shamble.

The most probable fights would be a civil war in the US, but the right wing in US are too complacent, or a civil war in Europe (could just be impotent protests).

The only real possibility is see is Iran, Israel seemed to be pushing for war with the shit they were pulling, but that seems to have died down. I doubt they would fair much better than Iraq. They have Russian support, but Russia isn't in the position to do much about it, and everyone knows it. If youre in Brazil I'd say your only concern is a total collapse of Venezuela. Not one really cares about south America

Well Russia and Ukraine have some artillery duel planned for orthodox Christmas next week but even if Russia invades a sizeable part of Ukraine (to fix Crimea access to non-salty water, for example) it's extremely dubious it could escalate beyond means words as there are no troops to speak of in Europe.

Russia is exactly like Germany in 1939, they would win tactically if they strike tomorrow because of how few and largely shitty the opposition is and bitchslap their way to Berlin but they wouldn't be able to sustain their advance all the way to prevent an US & cie counter-attack.

And despite the MSM kvetching Putin is no Hitler, Putin has a very risk adverse policy, he will defends Russian interests but always with the minimal application of force, almost to the point of meekness.

For you Venezuela IMHO should be much more of a concern, Russia parking strategic bombers there is the same move the US does when they park ships in Taiwan. It's not to threatens the US (if they wanted to do that they would park in Cuba) but to deter what they think is an actual intervention in planning (Russia had already done it around Chavez death).

I don't know that I'd say the US would win. Iran would lose eventually, for sure, but I'm not convinced the US would be able to get an actual victory without being bogged down trying to clean up the mess.

I'm relatively sure that NATO would get involved in that situation. There's more than a few NATO troops stationed here and doing something as blatant as a full blown invasion is just politically inconvenient on so many levels. What would happen is what happened in Ukraine: Hybrid warfare. They ramp up propaganda to make the large Russian minority in the Baltics hate the natives, fund and arm them and swoop in to "liberate" them from the fascists later.

I can only speak from the Estonian perspective but I am pretty sure it's similar in Latvia and Lithuania. It's an influence war all the way, because the Russian minority doesn't integrate. This makes them very susceptive to Russian propaganda that plays to the USSR nostalgia that many Russians still believe in, saying that Estonians are nazis and fascists that hate Russia and want to ban the Russian language, just search for "Estonia Russia Today" on Youtube, you'll see what kind of bullshit they try to produce.
