Why do the NCR fatigues still have pauldrons?
The Legion pisses me off. Why does their armor have to look like shit, and why can't they use some sort of steel pavise shields, instead of resorting to artillery? I mean, their armor isn't "shit", but it doesn't look all that professional. The NCR at least is more uniform (of you'll excuse the pun), and I like how they sort of remind me of pre-1945 Red Army troops (i.e. very cheap and simplistic, which makes sense when you consider that the NCR was overstretched; though they also look like British uniforms). Also, they do have smithing knowledge, so I wonder why there isn't more variety of melee weapons. Maybe Obsidian would have if the faggots and Bethesda weren't so keen on cashing in on Holiday sales. What I don't fucking understand is why not just put the game on hold until the next year if you want to cash in so bad? Anyway.
