Hello. I am wondering, is there a rifle chambered in 12 gauge? I want to use shotgun slug and sabot slug, but I do not like slow rate of fire on pump shotguns. Thank you in advance for your help.

It sounds like what you want is a semiautomatic shotgun with a rifled barrel.

Check and see if you can find a mossberg 930. Some versions of our come with a rifled barrel and rifled barrels can be bought separately as well.

Additionally, vepr and saiga make kalashnikovs in 12 gauge that you can put a rifled choke tube on.

A proper rifle in 12 gauge would be destructive device since the bore of 12 gauge is >half an inch. the reason shotguns are legal is that they are exempted under having legitimate sporting use. This is also conversely why things like the streetsweeper shotgun are given DD status since they lack a sporting use according to the ATF

I hate that pedantic bullshit. A 12 gauge shell with a solid slug and brass casing fired from a rifled barrel is just a .69 caliber rifle for all intents and purposes. I mean I'm glad the exemption is there I just hate that US firearms laws are this retardedly worded all the time.
