It's the perfect way to top the flamethrower and spread hype about the spaceforce. He could make it Tesla merch and improve the concept. Everything about it is superior to a mechanical firing system except the capacitor charging time. On the other hand, I'm sure the ATF would be happy if all he did was make it sexier and didn't sell them in California.

These days you would just use a high current LiPo and skip the capacitor, or just stick with mechanical primers because this offers no real advantages.
