Great Gramps been there, seen it done that As the red army getting their shit kicked in until 1937. Most warlords had like 20-40 rifles at most lol.

His biggest regret was not getting someone more pragmatic than mao
From what I've been told, if you thought the commies were badly armed with only swords, rifles, and a hodepodge of shit, the warlords were usually worse. Hell the entire Luding Bridge shit was when theh commies just came in and killed local warlords and residents because they probably lacked supplies they also had 1 machine gun the warlords didnt so…. The thing is, Warlord china is kinda what I forsee the collapse of the US and/or general civilization if it ever happens with SHTF scenario.
Hell, there's a couple based warlords back then, mainly the Northwestern clique by a bunch of muslims Read: Chinese Muslims who hate the Uygurs who had border clashes with the Soviets.
Honestly, the campaign against tibet is more intresting, mainly the attrition rate of ~1 death per 1km on the road building there.
