Hey /k/, so I have a bunch of old HDPE milk jugs and have been thinking about making some slingshots. I know that HDPE has a high density/strength ratio, that's why I chose it, but I am wondering if it is possible to mass produce things with it via sand-casting.

Does anyone have any experience melting HDPE? What safety precautions should I take? Personal experiences? Slingshot designs and the like? Please share.

I thought you guys kept milk in bags like we do.

What kind of retard would ever do that?

Milk should be kept either in glass bottles or cartons

Get a toaster over and melt it in that. Have some good ventilation while you're at it too.

Pretty sure that shit burns long before it melts since they use a chemical reaction to form it in the first place.

It's how it's done here in East Euro, although cartons are becoming more common I and most people still prefer bags. The milk is kept fresh for longer while it's still closed and the plastics used for making the bags are less harmful than BPA lined cartons IIRC. I don't really know why they aren't more common since there's a lot of benefits to it, I guess the fact that you need a plastic pitcher (which costs an euro and lasts about 3 lifetimes) and people are lazy.

Ah okay.

I actually prefer paper half gallons. I can drink a gallon of milk, but usually it goes bad before I finish it.

That's about 1.9 litres. That's not a common size, only one brand called Farmi makes 2 litre cartons, those fuckhueg plastic cartons aren't sold. Most common is still 1 litre bags, after that 1 litre cartons, and then 2 litre cartons.

Who would ever need more than 1L of milk in a day? I have trouble going through 1L before it goes bad.

To salvage the thread: Would it be possible to somehow infect a large part of enemy food processing by airdropping stuff on their cows and infecting their supply of milk? Consider the extreme hit on morale (or terrorist potential) of killing an entirw generation worth of infants fed with infected baby formula, not to mention forcing the enemy to throw away tonns and tonns of foodstuffs.

dfb959 No.547694

Short answer: Yes, but only Europeans really drink milk. Something like 2/3rds of the world is lactose intolerant because they never historically cultivated bovines for milk production. Maybe if you do it to chickens or goats or some shit, but then you'd probably do more damage putting those reverse rape condoms on their goats/donkeys. Chemical/Biological warfare is frowned upon in the international community though, and chemical/biological warfare has a bad habit of biting its creators in the ass or otherwise not doing its intended job. See: All the blind/lung-damaged/kidney-diseased Vietnam/Korean war veterans who inhaled traces of Agent Orange and are now dying off years later from the exposure.

We use both milk bags AND cartons however bags are more popular.

It's a thing in Quebec, the Maritimes, etc and I think Alberta + the Prairies.

I guess that's another one of those weird things you never know about a country until it's brought up like Canada having state-run off-licenses.
