Yes. Iranian youth has a massive boner for anything that is western, even if it is shit. They see it as a prestigious to spend money on useless shit as long as it is advertised as western.

Just zap over to an Iranian satellite TV station (which are all produced in Hollywood btw), and watch some of their commercials. 99% of it is for mascara, fragrances, toys, or festivals.
