I just acquired pic related due to a recent death. Not sure whether it’s a US m3 or m4. Are masks this old still usable, or will I die from fail and asbestos? The rubber is still good with no evidence of splitting anywhere. I put it on but damn sure didn’t fasten it down. Also, gas mask or equipment thread.
