I'd guess just 7.62x39 and maybe 5.56 since China still likes to act like their "oc donut steal" calibers are some kind of top secret

It only comes in 7.62x39. There's one gunshow sample in the US in 5.56.

Gonna buy a cheao SS/DB/OU shotgun on the coming payday. Purely in terms of ammo prices, 12 or 20 guage?

Seems a bit stupid to ask, given smaller=cheaper in theory. But 12 guage being common as dirt makes me think it might end up being cheaper.

12ga bulk ammo is roughly equivalent in price, but far more common. In everything else load-wise 12ga is ludicrously cheaper than 20ga.
