Howdy /k/. What kind of uniforms and vests (and weapons and vehicles) are most commonly used by Hezbollah these days? I know they used to wear US woodland knockoffs, but looking at pictures of Hezbollah in Syria, they now wear all kinds of gear, including knockoffs of digital camo.

How is Hezbollah organized these days? How has their experience in Syria changed them?

Also, the SAA (and many other forces in Syria) seem to have a ragtag look to them these days, with mismatched uniforms, vests and headgear and some guys wearing T-shirts and other civilian clothing.

With both Hezbollah and the SAA, their uniforms don't exactly look uniform.

I'm asking because I'm making a mod that includes these factions and I want it to be accurate.

Also, any interesting stories or info on Syria would be welcome.

Not sure if it's relevant to your interests, but: Lebanon has a large Christian minority, and as a general thing, they trust Hezbollah. That's why I have my doubts that Hezbollah is as radical as people say it is. Sure, it's not cozy, it has proven as much time and time again, but between instinctively blowing yourself up at the first sign of infidels and being trusted by these same infidels and occasionally regarded as protectors, there's a pretty large difference.

Hezbollah is only seen as radical in the West because they pushed Israels shit in. Doesn't hurt that they're mostly Shia; which typically come from people that have a history of civilization, unlike Sunnis.

No, they have their wits, but those wits are all about having the upper hand in the next deal. They are simply not capable of actual long term planning. Some of them might have some unrealistic goals like Greater Israel, but even they don't know how the fuck they could actually achieve them. I mean, at this rate most jews in Israel will be the orthodox kind who think Israel shouldn't exist until Yahwe himself establishes it, and the current state is a mockery of their religion.

I think you are thinking of Emma Watson whose film about eebul krischun gnadzees sold about 7 tickets, if I remember correctly. Although maybe Shia too had something similar.
