I saw a kid in jail possibly 18 years old and he was on the verge of serving multiple life sentences for possesing many 'illegal' firearms.

Question: what is the legality of owning firearms? the constitution says that we can have them but it seems like the kid may have been targeted for an extortion scheme or perhaps he was taken advantage of by a weapons cartel like stephen paddock.

What is /k/s stance on this?

in your opinions, what would constitute going to federal prison for life just for having weapons?

Thanks.

So what's the current running theory on that anyway?

I tried to follow the /pol/ threads but as usual they turned into an incomprehensible clusterfuck of faggotry and I couldn't make heads or tails of anything, and I sure as hell don't buy the few stories the media ran about him before they mysteriously moved on to other shit in less time than the gay club shooting or the Virginia Tech shooting.

He might as well have been - can't picture any of you cuckolds spraying at SWAT team while screaming SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED out the top of your lungs. And besides, he still went to jail while owning shit ton of deadly weapons without using them to fight those who came to take it away.

>inb4 don't give your enemies ammunition

Yeah because gun grabbers will totally give back all of your gun rights if you just play by their rules and it'll happen even quicker if you support common sense gun control.

>inb4 fbi

Yeah my point exactly.

So did you honestly come here just to bitch about burgers not shooting something up for once when the running joke is

>be american

>get shot

He's 18 btw, so not exactly well versed in the ways of the world in general, much less the way the clusterfucked gunlaws work in this country.

Ivan if you just want to shit on burgers just go ahead and make some shitty meme joke, there's no need for this roundabout "hurrhurr wer da reblyooshin at?" angle you're going for tbh

This is why we need to pass the Saga act with knives lumped in it.

Perhaps we could roll in Universal Amnesty/pardons into the saga act as well.

m80 I came to express my outrage at the preposterous thought that one would procure obscene amounts of weapons and immediately surrender when confronted with prospects of getting all of it confistated and going to jail, without using it to prevent this from happening. Fighting back might not last him very long, but as exemplified by real world situations, people prefer not to get shot over a total non-issue such as trying to confiscate guns from some teenage collector and put him to jail for hanging his guns on the wall in a frame. Chances are they would completely ignore him from there on if he threatened to lay waste on would-be attackers. There are places where not even military would go simply because losing men over ousting some hobos that don't bother anyone is not in any way a good strategy.

That's where you're really fucking wrong, Ivan.

Do you not know about Waco and Ruby Ridge?

pls at least learn about this country's fucked up historical relationship with gun rights before you run in here and lecture us about revolting.

I'll also reiterate that he's 18. Did you know shit about the world and your laws at 18?

Not many people know much of anything at that age, which is part of what makes this situation so fucked up. He's barely above a naive high schooler in terms of grasping the consequences of doing illegal shit, so it's no wonder he fucked around, got caught, and then immediately got reamed.

I'll agree it's outrageous, but if you honestly expect someone that young and unsophisticated to do any kind of revolutionary tier shit you might just be retarded.

Revolutions are carried out by the young, exclusively. I also do think that by this age he should be adept at legal and illegal sides of things. But that depends on the degree of cuckhood he was indoctrinated with. Myself, I haven't been considering breaking the law until I was well over 18, but thankfully I came to grasp the concept of law by now: Law does not applies unless you're caught. Can be extended with You're not caught until you're behind bars.

Yeah, well, same situation here, Ivan, don't be a fucking hypocrite.

Are you really even an Ivan?

You honestly come off more like a bong or a leaf with this kind of condescending shit despite being just as much of an impotent faggot as the ones you're shitting on.

The current theory is Paddock was working for the fed and was selling the guns to terrorists in his hotel room, kind of like Operation Fast and Ferious. The terrorists killed him, shot up the concert, and escaped. There were reports of active gunmen on the airport runways that night. Not to mention the top half of the casino he was in is owned by the Saudi family.

Daaah, cute kitty, Anon. Black cats are the best.

Yeah, OP, in America crimes and their sentences stack. It's not whichever one is more illegal. And I'd say owning anything Class III or past, technically speaking of course. Like, dangerous improvised and homemade shit, including anything law enforcement and government agents might use beyond local police, and anything like sawing off your shotgun beyond a certain length, etc.

The real shit is why you have all that shit. Like, the purpose, and who and where you got it all from, and refusal to cooperate with investigators. That's where most of the shit probably came from. Then the idiot probably said some shit in court, acted out in court, skipped bail, whatever.

Legally we have the right to every arm there is. The government continues to infringe.

>in your opinions, what would constitute going to federal prison for life just for having weapons?

If you had just got done murdering someone with it.

86e186 No.527301

Be honest anons, if you had a bunch of feds at your door and you knew you had multiple life sentences in your home, would you give up or go down fighting? If owning these weapons puts you in jail for life, what would kill a few feds on top of it do? This kid has essentially forfeited his life now. If something like this happened to me, I would definitely follow the "you can only kill me once" rule.

Gotta be prepared though. Have your mags loaded and have your skills honed. More importantly however you must know how to use your weapons to greatest efficiency. With shotgun you can use 000 buck and cyllinder bore, then you can simply aim for the head. Ballistic helmet ain't gonna do shit to stop buckshot and with higher spread you don't need to be as accurate - landing just a couple of pellets is plenty. At point blank range you can aim for the center of mass, nothing short of level 3 plate could stop a buckshot out of the muzzle, and even then that would be a pretty big dent.

If you're really preparing though, better whip up some automatic sentry turrets. Luckily, it's piss easy to do with all the parts and schematics available online. To make a turret you'd need to buy something like $100 worth of hardware - an arduino and raspberry pi and webcam or old laptop, a couple of actuators (stepper driven screw rod is fine) and motor drivers, and a little bit of scrap metal. Software won't do any decent job at friend/foe recognition though (main reason why armies don't use those) so once you activate one make sure you go nowhere near its line of sight.

That's some spooky shit.

I don't know how much water that theory actually holds, but the near complete blackout of information from the MSM surrounding the case is definitely extremely god damn suspicious and I wouldn't put killing a shitload of civilians and then covering it all up past our shitty alphabet soup agencies.

>Revolutions are carried out by the young, exclusively.

False. George Washington was 44 at the start of the revolutionary war. Go down this list most people in the American Revolutionary War were in their 40s or 50s. Jewish communist rabble rousers target their propaganda at young people because their less experienced in life, less knowledgeable and more impressionable, so only leftist attempts at "revolutions" position themselves as young. Sage for OT.
