38 super. the variety of 45 case bottleneck wildcats are cool too. 357 automag, a necked down 44 automag.

Thoughts on the idea of chambering the a m1 carbine in the equivalent of a WSSM cartridge because a WSSM wouldn't need a large receiver like a m1 garand or m14 has?

You'd still have to enlarge the carbine receiver, and beef it up a hell of a lot to take the much larger case and higher pressure. You'd probably end up with an M1a receiver anyway.
