Vancuck here. Lots if new developments on Richmond are being built by Chink developers. Most of the Chinese I feel have left the greater Vancouver area for Richmond actually, but I don't have the numbers on hand to prove it, and it doesn't really matter anyways. I know. Forgive me for being unclear about what I was saying. Most (I think read spoiler below) people can tell a Hui just by the way they speak Mandarin, they have a really, really obvious accent. Second, they look pretty different (imho) form regular Han. Third, in rural areas (not sure about cities) they can't write Mandarin at all.

My grandmother was a Hui Muslum who married a Han male and converted out of Islam. Today we still won't go back to her hometown in fear of getting lynched. So remove kebab when??? I think it might be they are so obvious because of the fact I technically am one (My mum (and I) were brought up atheist by my gramps though)
