3.)Get a G17L slide and shoot nothing but 115gr +P+ ammo (1400fps)

No I won't make any NFA item so fuck off ATF. What are your thoughts?

KISS and upgrade latter after moving. Brownells currently has a sale on good slide with an RMR cut already made (though you'll want a Delta Point Pro in there, not an actual RMR because that was never designed for a handgun) that's the cheapest slide available anyways after the standard Brownell's coupon code (Midway USA has one cheaper before shipping but it's more after and from a worse company).

Honestly since I already have a Matrix P229 and a 940Compact in the works, so I'm going full retard and building my gen V1 940 and slapping an older X300+Alg 6SM just for shits and giggles until the frame develops problems. Then I'll get the V2.

OP here, still waiting on the pre-order to ship (should have gone with the compact frame and built a G19). I think I'll go KISS and get a G17 slide and parts, then maybe just a WML after getting used to shooting it.

Get a G34 slide, and either a strike industries comp, or a threaded barrel and a compensator/brake

If you're in a commie state that bans threaded barrels then get the strike industries comp because it's no threaded barrel required and looks like some GiTS Shit, especially with a WML.

Also, get a Ghost disconnector. That's not a ghost gun joke, it's a real company and they make pretty good drop in trigger shit

Finished my Glock 19 build finally. Got a vickers tactical G19 slide in FDE to match my FDE lower. It looks pretty sexy.
