My area and even the city used to be the best. Then
>constructions (they leave trash all over the place and don't bother cleaning it up)
>municipality dug up all the roads because pipeline
>didn't properly level it (huge bump of soil+pieces of tarmac+rocks)
>increased population, more garbage
>all soulless white buildings
>bright, warm sodium vapour lamps replaced with shitty leds that give off a weak, gloomy white
>"development" incl speedbreakers, traffic signals and road dividers - more an inconvenience than anything else
And the most fun part is that people in reflective vests suddenly show up at any random spot in the city and start digging holes for seemingly no reason. These sites are everywhere and they are huge eyesores. The roads were already really bad. It makes my formerly beautiful city look like a heap of trash.
