Hello fellow Indian board. I am a Polsih "pagan" community member - follower of Slavic Native Faith (based on Indo-यूरोपan prechristian religion of Slavic people). Few hours ago one of catholic church related organizations posted few photos on their facebook page (https://pl-pl.facebook.com/smsznieba/photos/pb.190134697663294.-2207520000.1554074491./2545077428835664/?type=3&eid=ARBzxfa2m_Id0Dgjr_07qf9wLWwAS2t8h67dfUEFv7kJq1Wy21N73Q-Zbd8YLlmshvuQWwOE_xZsnJpK) with what looks like ritual burning of many items like fantasy books, books on occultism, few toys and figures of animals, अफ्रीकाn ritual masks and what appears to my eyes to be a figurine of Hindu God Vishnu. Burning was motivated by religious and ideological intolerance. What do you think about their actions?

Burning books and artifacts of any sort is petty on so many levels. If its motivated by religious vigor on an institutional level its a reflection on the religion that sanctions this.

I'm Polish. That figurine in circle wasn't created with any spiritual significance in mind. I've seen them sold as garden ornaments in the store "Majster". Good that they're burning rajneesh's and rowling's books though.

What is the relation of this pic and the figure you are talking about?
