Because listing manually a folder content is something that no one does, with reason, i created a mini script so the computer do for us to avoid uploading X.X GB of guess what inside, now you will be able to upload the generated file and anyone would know what files are insaid

Is as simple as executing it in the folder you want to list the files you want and done, a Content.txt will be created listing the content and more or less the structure of the directory based on tabulations and the files with it size, it also will create a Duplicates.txt if it founds or thinks they might be duplicates of the same file on different folders under the path it is executed

I hope you find it useful, i only created the 64 versions because i understand that in this year evreyone has an 64 bit OS but in case you dont know how to compile for your OS ask and i will upload a 32 version. OSX versions are missing because i dont own any Apple products so i cant compile natively, i dont think it matters that much because most OSX user has the virtual windows installed but as i said, tell me and i will see what i can do about it. The extensions are .txt because linux cant care less, it knows the file it is a text one but Windows cant so i fixed for both, a minor detail that doesnt matter at all

in a batch file

LigthHeavy? Yes, you can use the comand but in that case you will not get the size of the file and in future versions i plan to also display the length of the audio/video file. Other problem is the output format it is less readable, you will get the complete path making it more complex

And the real problem is not that i cant do "system("dir /b /s > Content.txt")" in code it is that this only works on windows, not on linux (i tried because it is the OS i used as primary) and you can bet that neither in OSX

But the program is it only to make it easier, you simply drag the binary where you want and click, not has to use cd directory and go to it with the terminal, it is quicker and it works

select all files. press shift + right click on a file.

select "copy path". paste in a txt file

as a uploader of big files is the way i do after i upload a big file ;)

What you do it is exactly the same the comand above does only using the graphic interface, if you later upload it i imagine you has to find and replace the complete paths with an empty char the path of the files but if you has folders you has to go one by one doing this the same thing

It is only a convenience tool, drag where you want, execute and done. It the duplicates.txt is created you migth want to check for duplicates among the files

If you want give it a try to see it is a little more that what you usually does
