So I'm starting with n1kk1, and working through b3c4u53. I'm 5 days into 5urr3nd3r. Sometimes when I go into this file, my mind just constantly wants to wander. I don't realize it happens until I've missed 6 or 7 steps down the stairs or the snowflake bit for example. Tonight I missed parts and even missed the waking up. The file ended and I snapped out of it because the sound stopped. With my schedule I really only have one shot on a given day, so I don't want to restart.

Other times I hear it all and go very deep and am starting to feel like my conscious mind is getting closer to really going to sleep, so I know what a good session is like I think.

What do you guys do to stay on track? Should I just down a coffee before going in? Can I practice this in other ways?

I tend not to listen to the same file twice for this exact reason, once you know what's coming I feel like it's much harder to keep focus.

Hypnosis is like any other skill, the more you practice the better you get at it - but along the way you will have days when things flow and days when they don't… try not to get too hung up on the successes and failures you experience.

It seems like her style doesn't quite get you very involved with the files. I had the same problem with this series. I kept going for about another week and eventually had some success as far as feeling to be in trance, if that makes any sense, but nothing beyond that.

I'd suggest to try some of her other files, which also don't require you to have listened to other ones beforehand. When you have rebuilt the desire to listen to Because, you can always go back.

If that doesn't work try some other tists.

Practice with some guided meditation files first. It's very close to hypnosis and as you git gud you'll gain more focus and control over your thought process, which is great for both anxiety management and getting hypnotized.

I will look into this and see about getting started on meditation. I think I saw this referenced in another thread, but starting the hypno was too exciting. I will especially be looking to this if I'm having a particularly difficult time at the end of 2 weeks.
