It certainly can take a long time and a good deal of practice to be able to go into trance. Seven hours is nothing, months is more in line with how long it takes most people to really start to get the basics, and there are some people kicking around here who've said that they've tried to go into trance for years upon years without success.

The training.zip file here is a good place to start. There shouldn't be any sissy stuff in either of those files that I know of, but be sure to review them just in case, since I haven't yet.

I'm one of those. I've been trying files on/off basically since the first Jackpot, whenever that was. I don't think any file has had the intended effect on me. The ones that are just a visualized fantasy are quite nice even without trancing.

Weird, back when I've only got into this fetish I could fall extremely deep in trance even to mediocre files. Many of the most intense hypno experiences I've ever had are actually from some of the first or at least early files I've listened to.

Nowadays though I can almost never go that deep and often have trouble falling into trance at all. It's kind of like if I've developed a resistance to it instead of getting "better" at it
