TTS can be very good, but you've either got to commit to the bit (as in, accept and work with the robotic feel) or be good enough at audio wizardry and effects to make it work.

Very few are willing to commit, and even fewer have the skill to not do so. It sucks, because I can't do male voices, but if they could master this the male 'tists could make up for the lack of quality female voices and hypnotists out there.
