i found a python script on github here (https://github.com/the-okn3/volafile-downloader), which was conveniently uploaded just a day or two ago. it should run on anything, but i can confirm it works on win10 if you follow the directions in the readme and a few other steps.
specifically, to get this thing working correctly, you need to create a folder called "downloads" in the main folder you extract (…/volafile-downloader 2.1.0/downloads), AND inside that folder, you need to create an empty text file named volafile-downloader.log
also, to run the script, you must run:

from an elevated command prompt. "download.py" as mentioned in the readme doesn't exist.
