Either ypou're trolling this thread or your chrome browser is causing you problems. I have no idea what "is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous" means in the contect of a zip file. Zip files ARE commonly downloaded, so the message is nonsense.

The file size on the ufile.io link clearly says it's 68.5 MB. I just tried to download it and (surprise!!) it IS 68.5 MB.

I no longer use Sandboxie, having moved to Linux, but I remember there was a recurring issue with new versions of chrome causing problems when run in Sandboxie. I assume you ran chrome in Sandboxie first, and then recovered the file to a place outside of the sandbox.

The screenshot shows a "zip" file but your file explorer thinks it's an application, eg .exe. so file association seems a bit odd unless you have configured your file explorer NOT to show file suffixes, such as .zip and .exe. If so, then it really could be an application, so DO NOT RUN IT.

From what I can glean from the screen shot, I would suggest you proceed with caution. I know the file is good because I downloaded it myself *but to a Linux system*. I'd tentatively guess that you've either been MITM'd or (more likely) uploadfiles.io has supplied a virus/trojan, since it's detected that you're using Win7.

I'm running Windows 7 and just tried to download the same file from from uploadfiles.io but it has given me a file that is only 1.4 MBytes in size. I'll submit it to a viruschecker site and report back.

virustotal.com say that the same file has already been submitted and 13 out of 56 virus detection services identify it as a trojan.

So the question is: did updatefiles.io get hacked or are they simply a dodgy site to be avoided in the future?

Man, that's only a 23% detection rate, or put another way it would get past 77% of the anti-virus products out there. Anti-virus products suck big time. It's just feel-good snake-oil they're sellling.

Sandboxie, on the other hand, is a good product, IMO, and worth paying for.

I just tried it and it is sending a 1.4MB file, which I guess is the trojan to my windows machine.

So if I'm reading this right, uploadfiles checks the machine type and sends the trojan if it is windows but sends the real mp3 if it detects linux. I wonder what it would do for a mac. Anyone with a mac care to try?

I already have these files, but as it is an interesting issue, I downloaded it.

I got a 71,8 zip-file, that expanded to 73 MB and the two files inside are matching exactly to the two files I already have.

I also downloaded the files to check them and mine were clean. (I'm on Linux.) The issue seems to be that there is some code on uploadfiles that decides whether to download the real file or a trojan. It might be decided on a random basis but it could be based on which OS is being used. The sample size is too small to tell, right now.

So what OS are you using?

To answer a few questions that have been asked I'm running W7. I downloaded the files using regular Chrome and then unzipped them in Sandboxie. For curiosities sake I tried opening the application in Sandboxie and nothing visible happened on the surface level.

Oh yeah and to the one who asked my system is set to not show the file extensions, so that is an .exe disguised as a .zip by the file name.

That said, can we get a reupload of these files on a better site?

I never understood why that's the default setting. It's important to know what the file is, IMO.

Pretty much this. Some of her early stuff was pretty ok and was quite hypnotic for an mp3/video files.

But her videos are virtually all the same - basic induction (if any) and then the tired old "addicted, permanent chemical changes in brain, always thinking about me". I know that all tists are using similar themes in most of their stuff, but she's rehashing her schtick to a ridiculous degree…

I can agree! I started with her audio files. It's good hypno and I really felt the effects. She definitely knows what she is doing. But after a while it didn't felt right anymore and especially since she started doing these shitty videos with her ugly fake tits she just seems like an greedy, untrustworthy bi**h.
