Patreon version 2.3 Changelog:

- Now states of NPCs saves as well, because player will be able to raise their affinity and exp. First of them are cops, that have some new interactions.

- Building a 'massage salon' now just lower your notoriety, cops still arrive weekly after that, when your notoriety became to high. Each prison day will lower your notoriety although.

- There is a separate location for a police jail, where they brought you. Leaving the office you can select to set 'day off' for your brothel, to avoid a huge reputation drop, or just have receptionist at the desk.

- Being in the jail you can try to seduce your wardens, with different outcomes for FM, FF, MF pairs of prisoner/warden. It takes us most of the time, check new animations specific for 'through grates' sex.

- There is a half done event for arresting your hoes, if cops catch them. But for now it's frozen and disabled, while we are thinking how to make an impact of it less punishing.

- Added FC ending for Alice kidnapping event. Dildo and AS included.

- Fixed bugs from the previous version. Now you can play as Elda, after unlocking her.

- We brought some order to 'events' in the cheat panel. Added recent events, and Hitomi adventures.

Android APK issues. For those who have troubles 'file can't be opened'. This is new security measure from Android. We can't post game on Google play because of adult content. To install apk from source other then google play, you have to use built in or installed third party file manager to launch .apk, and have checked - allow to install from unknown sources in your security settings. Second of all, 2.5 is not out. Its release was scheduled for today but got delayed for the sixth time now thus meaning it's two months and a half late. Before you lecture people, get your facts right.

Finally, it's not a great game. Greater games have been done in 1/4 of the time it has taken this team to do less than half of their game.

So I'm of the opinion that they actually lost their coder, and as a result don't have the ability to release any new content as a result. My suspicion is he left at some point in developing this new system and as a result they have slowly been releasing versions that supposedly worked that they had access to and are out of options.

As a result, since their image guy is still working they can create image dumps claiming they are doing stuff when in reality they have no ability to actually develop anything.

I was lucky, I had built up a bit of a fanbase being involved in the shitshow that is the homestuck fandom, so when I opened up I had a few patrons already chomping at the bit to get on my dick.

I have a few higher tier rewards which basically amount do discounted monthly commissions - trading money for the assurance of consistent custom. 7 total, 3 ink and color and 4 lineart. As for requests, I stream on piczel 1-2 times a week for about 3 hours taking sketch requests from my patrons who show up. One request per stream to a monthly maximum based on their donation level.

I'm not making a whole lot of money with only 24 patrons. But I do this to supplement my VA disability pension, not to be my career. With proper advertising and networking, and gimmick, you could parlay that into a career.

The biggest problem I see with this game is frankly a lack of communication.

First of all, it's really stupid that they lock the updates on the patreon posts on patreon. They don't have to give updates to everybody (though that'd be nice), but the least they could do is tell others how the game is progressing. It also dissuades people from donating in my opinion if no one knows what's happening. They also don't update their LOK forum or their blogger account. While I can't expect them to stick to a deadline for releases, they could give us the number of the next public release, or release updates a set time after it's given to patreons.

Next, there's no clear bug list, and frankly they don't seem to be that proactive in fixing them. There needs to be clear buglist visible to everyone and they should mention what they're going to work on next. Maybe a trello or something would work? The closest thing I've seen to this sort is this:

Have you guys never seen the Strive for Power 2 thread? It's not a "brothel" game, but it's damn near close. You capture/purchase/sell slaves, train them to make them more valuable and generally better at tasks. It has turn based combat mixed into it and a well developed story already.

You need to get the second level before you can appoint a receptionist it's probably that. I forget what the hell triggers that, it might be the first police visit then you talk to Alice and she'll give you the option.

Huge chunk of refactoring

Because now reception is not the only place to create such deals. - Than I worked on char and client sheets. I brought them and item wardrobe together, to make them accessible from any game screen, not only from reception and hero cabinet. They were supposed to work like this, but in a hurry temporary tie to reception stayed forever. Lots of existing and potential bugs were catched and fixed in the process. Although it might bring new ones, but at least now the whole engine system inside is in order facion. - fixed staff panel that appears from home plan. Now if you choose level up tab, only chars requires level up will be shown and scrolled through next button. Making easier to navigate and level up all your characters. - client preferences and bonus slider now works a bit different. Client won't chose exhausted or low mood girls. Bonus slider now can give only 10% max from the client price. But you'll see the point when the bonus enough to surpass mood penalty. - same receptionist works now independently. It used to secretly open clients tab and simulate to click offer. Which caused sometimes missed clients, etc. Now fixed. - lots of testing were made. Since I touched a very basic mechanics it influenses to a lot of stuff. Which gave an opportunity to chop some dence weed out of it. It was boring technical stuff to listen to, but it was pretty much what I was doing. Think that's enough for one dive into the basic code. Next I'm going to give attention to the gym and maybe some other more representable stuff.
