Do not confuse it with regular heart pick-up which increases your H-power but might decrease intelligence and strength. Which brings me to this, I still do not know what the hell the stats are for.

Press F3. It brings up a quick travel screen with all the rooms listed; the game is not paused when doing so though. F4 if you need to find where the fuck is the girl you are after, it brings up a stats menu (same as when you middle-click and select the notebook). Look for 現在地 (Current Location), first tab on the right of the ID card. The rest I am sure you can compare which is which looking at the runes if you are not a complete numbskull.
Also FYI. The F4 tab. On the top-right, there are three tabs. First two are sort by 1) Name 2) Relationship. The third one is which stats being viewed which brings you to H-stats. Along those rows:
First one is condition (状態)
Second one is love/friendliness/goodwill towards (好感度)
Third one is H-level (H度)
Fourth one is H-experience (H経験). This shit is important so I will explain. There are four stages of the girl. 初めて (None/First-time, self-explanatory) > 不慣れ (Unfamiliar/Not used to) > 慣れ (Familiar) > 淫乱 (Lewd). You get all those eight stats of the girl up to 100% and she become 慣れ and from that point she can become 淫乱 from time to time (in my case, most of the time; need more experimentation, other sources said you give her mind-blowing session like 20+ girl orgasm and she becomes perma-lewd after all her 8 stats got to 100%)
Fifth one is H回数 (number of times you did her).
As for the eight stats that appears you did her. Here are the translations.

Once you press it, you can change your locations and on the right there is a tab which denotes the basic position which you will do her. Aside from the lack of hair options and the typical feminine male characters I really like the character creator.
Game itself I find weak though. It's no AA3, that's for sure. The social interactions are simple and limited, the actual 3D world just means you have to spend a lot more time pointlessly running around with awkward controls, there's the stupid plot with the generic girl and the H scenes aren't anything to write home about. It also runs pretty badly and I hate the shader they use on the characters.

Talk to a girl and have her follow you. Head to the nearest H-stat raising icon and do the action with the girl next to you. You'll get the standard H-increase prompt along with a little note saying something like "The girl has watched you be lewd." or some such. Very likely since Illusion does that a lot. Both AA games had new personalities as DLC, but in the end, that didn't address the issue that we can't use Personality A's voice with Personality B's lines. We'll just get a new Personality C.

This is extremely unlikely because no mod in the universe can change prerecorded voice acting. The only way something like that could work is if a future game uses a voice synthesizer program for the voice acting, like the way you could add custom voice acting to your AI partner in non-NA versions of Freedom Wars. That would make the sex scenes sound like shit, though, so it's not going to happen until there are significant improvements in voice software. If voice software does get to that point, they might as well let us make custom personalities while we're at it.

Seems like there's a hang up in one of the teacher scenes later on, specifically one that auto triggers, so there is no avoiding it. Let's imagine what should be the next game of Illusion Soft, after "Koikatu!".
I think it should have strongest sides of each previous game.
- Open world with free traveling like in AG3. It will be really big city, where will be thousands of random generated people, and can be also persons added from cards. Player in there can be not only schoolboy, but also an adult people who work as journalist, taxi driver, sportsman, detective, criminal, prostitute, AV actor or director, gravure idol, J-Pop idol, rock musician, etc. Something like in Shenmue where player can get different jobs. Can buy different houses, cars, clothes, and can stay in hotel, including japanese "love hotels".
- More detailed conversations, probably with procedural generated phrases and voice synthesis. Can play different games with girls, like in Dead or Alive Beach Voleyball. Fights like in Tekken series.
- As a criminal, player can rape someone. Or be raped, especially if plays as a girl. Kidnap or be kidnapped, etc.
- Personalities consists not of single types and traits, but of different combinations of stronger or weaker trait stats. For example "playful=30, lazy=15, aggressive=8, smart=20, egoistic=15". For each combination unique dialogues will be generated, and different reactions to player's actions will happen.
- Graphics like in Playhome, or overall like in Final Fantasy XV.
- Full support of modding, with plugins system like in Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 4.
- Besides of single player mode, multiplayer where players can play with each other, not with AI NPC.
If Illusion aren't assholes, if they loves their art of creating H-games, they should do like this, in their next project. We don't want another stub with no gameplay and lack of content, right? And Koikatu is boring.

They aren't just looking at each other, though. They are talking to each other, which was what they did in AA2 if NPC/NPC interaction wasn't disabled. The only problem with it is we can't tell if it actually does anything besides give an impression that something is happening, unlike in AA2, where you know because they can actually be heard since that game does play the voiced lines for each character. The girl on girl part is exactly as AG3 had it, based entirely on a trait. Another one that I haven't seen to this day despite the years I've spent playing that game. I'm not trying to kid anybody, this game is actually an improvement in a lot of areas that needed it. The movement is much better, especially since you don't run the risk of accidentally interacting with anyone you don't want to, something I do constantly on a full class in AA2 when switching rooms because they just love to stand right where I have to click right at the moment I do so. The graphics are amazing compared to literally every other Illusion game. The maker is much more refined, though I would prefer they kept the clothing system AA2 style, where it isn't saved to the character data. However, there are some pretty major flaws, I will give you that. There is no interruption, which is both good and bad, good because that got really annoying in AA2 when you had several do it in a row and bad because you are stuck in any unwanted interaction, which that system did save me from a few times in AA2. There is no gust of wind, which was a cool effect and added a nice little touch of realism to the game as well as another way to get out of an interaction if outside. Like I said before, there is no way to tell if the stop and talk thing NPCs do is just an animation or has an actual effect because their voiced lines only play when interacting with you. There is no way to stop the way they act if you enter a girls only area, meaning even lovers get pissy at you for it, unlike in AA2, where they don't tell you to get out at a certain relationship level or above. The H scenes are one on one with all other NPCs temporarily unloaded, which was a fun aspect of AA2, getting to see the pure girls run while the perverts stayed and played. I'm sure much of this will be covered by mods, but it just wouuldn't be the same as if it were a core mechanic added in by DLC, which is still possible, but highly unlikely. Overall, I would agree they dropped the ball on this one, but it isn't a bad game in the long run despite its flaws.

I think a major problem with this game is that the time to benefits ratio of 100%-ing a girl is poor. Often I'll get within 2% of the 50% bottleneck despite doing the action four or five times, thus necessitating an extra attempt to make up for that 2%. If there were only five girls it wouldn't be so bad but there are thirty not counting the teachers.
And once you do "break" a girl, what you get is a bit underwhelming. I get that it's too sweet of a game to have much moral degeneration but they could at least have included ahegao and multiple orgasms (Like they had in AG3.)
Speaking of AG3, in that once you'd "broken" a girl, they would stop running away in most sexual situations, such as when they'd walk in on you having sex with another girl or if one of you were improperly dressed. In Koikatsu two girls I've 100%'d and made girlfriends and Koikatsu-bu members will abandon a yuri scene if I don't sneak up on them just right. I think I've stopped more than I've been able to watch outside of the Free H mode. Same story with the locker/shower room, 100% does nothing to most if not all personalities to make them okay with your presence. This is backwards of what the penalty for getting caught should be (i.e., lustily hunting you down.)
And on top of that since the game only saves at the end of the day, if there's any crashes or BSODing you can lose a LOT of time. The fear of this happening makes me want to go home before Lunch Break ends.
Again, this would be more acceptable if it didn't take so much time to get a single girl to 100%.

different anon here, the game isn't as easy as some of their previous ones in terms of UI as most of it is text centric and not graphics centric, meaning the player needs at least a basic grasp of how to read whatever language it is in. The HF/community patch gives a very basic, very machined, but much easier to understand translation that makes playing the game possible without some serious trial and error. The main UI was given a human translation as were parts of a few personalities and the first events of each story character as well. I have a feeling this anon's problem wasn't the patch itself, but something going wrong in either the download or installation.

Seriously, I downloaded this repack because I accidentally deleted my original Koikatsu folder with all my mods, so this seemed like a better alternative than re-torrenting and scraping HF for all my mods again. How wrong I was.
After downloading & unpacking the game, I started it up only to find that FlashbangZ had altered the Illusion logo & the title screen to his own gay-ass version complete with his own logo and his naked waifu. Whatever. His starting custom characters are all shit. (No, I don't want to play as Waldo from "Where's Waldo?") So I go back to make a custom male character from scratch, only to find that the game crashes. Why? Because one of the many, many MANY useless mods (I don't know which) was corrupted and sent my computer in an tizzy trying to unpack it failing, retrying again, and sending it to endless loop. This froze the computer to a standstill and I had to do a hard reset, which is never good.
Even if you can suffer Flashbangz's self fellatio opening screens, the dumb useless mods, and if by a miracle it doesn't crash on you, the repack is now outdated since Illusion just released a new expansion pack for Koikatsu, which assuredly is NOT compatible with this over-modded piece of crap. So yeah, Fuck FlashbangZ and fuck the anon who recommended this broken piece of hot mess.

I've only ever played with stock characters wearing default clothing because the translator made it clear that altering certain things on a character or using a new one would cause issues with the translation, which is partly because it isn't using the normal method of altering the files outside the game using a text editor. There is something there, but AA2 is superior, you at least got that part. As for stringing together scenes, that's literally all you do in AA2 with some conversation sprinkled on top outside of it. The same can also be said for Koikatu, just running around to start scenes and talk to girls to unlock those scenes. If you want an actual game, Illusion hasn't been the company to look for in a while now. Kiss or Real is where its at for actual games with Adult content in the Japanese market, not sure outside of Japan. The last Illusion game by your standards was Illusion's Wakeari, which at least had the shooter element to it. Also. I finaly found the 3 paid DLC in a repack's update. So here it is. Download the koi2018DEC_DLC.7z.swf, remove the .swf from the file name, and extract/copy the files inthe their proper place.
