Considering we are in 8chan, home of the redpilled, I decided to make some additions to the rules.

From now on, any comment related to politics and religion (outside of the male thread) is BANNED . Posts that devolve into political territory will receive a ban, and be deleted accordingly.

This is not a place for shitposters from /b/, /pol/, or even /leftypol/ and /r9k/ to come and post. This is a place made for femanons who want to talk and don't give a damn about politics and other subjects that could easily be discussed in other boards,

Furthermore, any "catfish" will be warned. Don't come here pretending to be "the little girl" when you clearly aren't.

>>9262

Females can't talk about their female perspective on politics on /pol/ because it derails the thread with "tits or gtfo."

I think girltalk should be /pol/, /v/, /b/, etc. except for girls.

We should be able to talk about politics, but within reason, like we have been doing. If people are going to get banned for talking about something vaguely tradfem, then this place's user base will rapidly dry up.

Don't be a BO that is nofuns

>>9268

someone needs to make /girlpolvb/

8cdce6 No.9271

>>9268

The problem is that males will jump at the discussion. And also try to redpill.

With limited ways to control them, we kinda have to do this.Unless you are OK with a /pol/ general for girls (heavy moderated to remove any male presence)

7eea5c No.9274

>>9271

That could be a nice compromise. But it doesn't make much sense to have all these containment generals when we have such little traffic in the first place. Like really, what else is there to talk about other than /b/ /v/ and /pol/ topics? I don't want this to become like lolcow.farm where all they talk about is shallow shit like clothes and makeup or else get banned.

8cdce6 No.9276

>>9274

There are million of other topics. Not allowing politics, at least for a while, won't kill anyone.

I just want all the male shit posters to get bored. Then and only then we can get going.

Also you say we don't have many posters, but we are in the top 50 atm. Not that bad.

https://8ch.net/girltalk/res/9196.html

WHY DID THIS GET LOCKED???

THIS IS THE MOST QUINTESSENTIALLY FEMALE TOPIC WE COULD BE DISCUSSING

How the fuck is this not relevant to /girltalk/???

What the fuck does /girltalk/ even MEAN if womanhood discussions aren't allowed????????

These vague rules are fucking ridiculous, like what is BO'S ideal vision of /girltalk/? Just some fucking pink room where we can't express any creative, challenging thought, where everyone just screeches 'MUH VAGINA' as infinitum? This is ridiculous.

8cdce6 No.9284

>>9282

Look at the amount of male posts.

You seem to ignore how many guys come and ruin the party.

Wherever things get slightly political, these guys autism kicks in and they swarm threads where they shouldn't even post.

I ask constantly for suggestions on how to deal with this problem. So if you want political discussions here, first we need to regulate the males somehow. Any tip you might have is valuable, so please, leave your input

I just answer questions.

Not my fault they go full autism.

>>9287

Then I will get the usual complains of "you deleted my opinion because it didn't agreed".

I will unlock the thread. But if y deviates to /pol/trash again, I will lock it again.

>>9291

Thank you for listening to input.

Maybe it would help if you wrote a really detailed board constitution? What you're aiming for this board to be, and a concrete line of what is absolutely allowed and what is not. Nobody likes arbitrary rules.

8cdce6 No.9296

>>9294

>>9294

My problem is that I don't know why you guys find arbitrary and what not. In my head, its all crystal clear, but on paper it changes..

What isnt clear in the rules? Go check em, since I updates them.

You need to make distinctions about what you're doing. Like here:

>These kind of discussions usually devolve into men forcing down their opinion on our female posters ("redpilling"), and it's something we do not want in this board.

What exactly constitutes "redpilling?" Just disagreeing with someone? Or are you going down the "mansplaining" route?

Because there is a way to define this pretty easily.

<Derailment of a thread's subject, intentional or otherwise, will be met with a warning. Subsequent, or initial deliberate, derailment will be met with a ban.

Likewise, my gut says you just want to call any disagreement, bolstered by uncomfortable facts, as "redpilling" but you can, again, pretty easily define it.

<unrelated /pol/ infographics

<intentional disruption of a conversation, with /pol/ talking points

<dismissal of criticism, as "female nature" without extrapolation

When you lay out rules, you need to be explicit and retard proof it.

Because rules aren't meant to silence, they're meant to keep order.

1d9a91 No.9378

>>9377

>you need to be explicit and retard proof it.

I agree with this 100%

Think of the most retarded person on the planet that can still read and write (to some degree), write rules that even that drooling retard can understand and then retard proof it FURTHER just to be on the safe side.

AND EVEN THEN a yet greater fucking imbecile will show up, but those kind of people probably need help getting dressed in the morning, so no helping them there.

fb5619 No.9388

>>9377

You nailed it, basically.

I don't want this to be /poltalk/. This is /girltalk/, and we want /pol/ out. They put politics on everything.

I will edit it accordingly when I get back home.

>>9378

What about the people who pretend to be retards tho.

Ignoring points just because.

I will edit that, don't worry.

Wrong opinions.

>>9395

Right opinion.

Did I not explain myself clearly? Or was I being too subtle.

No, what I meant was that your catty ass is wrong for thinking that "mainsplaining" is a thing, and not your frail ego being too fucking weak to actually handle dissent.

Though given how >>9395 thought I meant it in support of it too, I'll concede I wasn't being clear enough.

But that still doesn't excuse your whore ass for thinking it's okay to silence people, just because you don't like hearing explanations for why you could be wrong.

8cdce6 No.9541

>>9533

You are missing the point of what "mansplaning" is supposed to mean.

Men feeling superior and talking down to female posters is not what we want. Just look at your post right now: That's exactly what you are doing with your petty insults.

Nothing wrong with arguments, but when they devolve to an insult and brainwash party, we are better off without them.

ed53c5 No.9544

>>9541

I thought it was tumblr speak for "logic" and "things I don't like"

f45b9c No.9545

>>9544

Let's put it this way: if you said it, she'd just say you're wrong. If a male said it, then it's "mansplaining." Just something to get the opposing side to clam up.

f42c49 No.9546

>>9541

You're not special.

I talk like this to anybody who doesn't get what I mean, within reason.

>>9544

It is. Snail girl's just a control freak, who can't stand it when people disagree with her, or don't act the way she expects.

So since she can't actually handle debate, she feigns being able to and lambasting any opposition, with that term.

8cdce6 No.9550

>>9546

>So since she can't actually handle debate, she feigns being able to and lambasting any opposition, with that term.

How many times do I have explain this? This isn't a board for men to indoctrinate women.

It's not because you don't agree with me: it's because all male posters so far have only wanted to go down the route of "change your ways noe". Do you honestly think I want this board to devolve to that? Just ping-pong arguments with no substance.

Preventing political discussions for a while will help aliviate this problem.

This is not up to debate anymore. The rule has been set, and will be lifted when the males who feel the need of pushing their ideals and political agendas are bored. You are honesty naive if you think people from 8chan can talk about politica without sperging out.

Please, if you really want to talk about politics, consider other mediums or take it to the male thread. This is first and foremost a board made for women, and the last think we need is more indoctrination.

This board is NOT made for men. So its logical you won't like the rules here. Plradry, understand this board is not for you, and carry on with for day.

1ae002 No.9559

>>9550

It seems to me like you're already indoctrinated and don't want people contradicting your beliefs.

8cdce6 No.9570

>>9559

I am ot the only one who believes men "redpilling" this place left and right is toxic.

We have had this same song dance over and over again: Our female posters do not want males here acting like this.

I tried to be nice and let them post anywhere they pleased at first. Then I tried to make the /boytalk/ thread for more sensitive subjects. Now tho, I really have to go for drastic measures, since no matter what I do, the message doesn't gets accross and they use the "you just disagree with us!" argument.

It's not about that. It's about the mere fact of you guys posting like that here. Please, try to understand this is an imageboard for WOMEN, not MEN. I don't know how to make it any more clear.

1ae002 No.9584

>>9570

why dont you make a designated /poltalk/ thread? everything political = mansplaining is retarded

a622e4 No.9585

>>9559

Trust me when I say this.

It's not that Snail can't handle "contradicting beliefs", it's that every fucking thread gets derailed into trying to change her mind on these beliefs.

Spoiler, a lot of my friends have the "contradicting beliefs" that you talk about, and yet I don't care. Why? Because they don't try to turn every conversation political.

It's not that people can't handle differing beliefs, it's that you need to understand there is a time and a place to discuss these beliefs. If you cannot understand THAT much then you're socially retarded and in the redpilled world you want, you'd be cut out of the gene pool for impure genes.

8cdce6 No.9591

>>9584

Because we already have it.

The /boytalk/ thread serves that purpose.

/Christian/?

The answer was males.

That board has barely any female (if any).

Read >>9585

We hav no other option for now.

42d7a8 No.9672

wow

0f76f9 No.13638

>>9613

You do know you can't actually quarantine an entire group of posters on a board. Right? Just look at the segregations of /pol/, the very board which you despise. They're bullying the shit out of the Syrian generals, and it's just making everyone resent the mod team, and persist. Segregating an entire sex and topic is just asking for a life of stress moderating by your rule.

f42c49 No.13644

>>13638

Not to mention the definition of "politics" is incredibly nebulous.

That and I mean, how exactly will one quarantine males here?

Something tells me she isn't exactly a codemonkey, so she's not going to be able to sniff it out just on IP address shit.

No matter what I hear, this still just sounds to me like someone who can't handle people disagreement.

602c3e No.13791

>>9271

>With limited ways to control them, we kinda have to do this.Unless you are OK with a /pol/ general for girls (heavy moderated to remove any male presence)

Yes, remove male presence on a imageboard designed around anonymity. That makes a lot of sense.

602c3e No.13792

>>9276

>I just want all the male shit posters to get bored.

>Then and only then we can get going.

If these are the requirements to /girltalk/ succeeding, this board is doomed.

602c3e No.13793

>>9388

>They put politics on everything.

Except everything is politics. Politics are by nature opinions. You need to be specific when saying "no politics". If you aren't, you are essentially saying "I want no opinions whatsoever" which renders the board as moot.

Of course, that's not what you meant. It does come across as you complaining about posts that you disagree with rather than anything else though, due to how vague the rules are.
