If that's the case this should be clarified in the rules page, something along the lines of "Men are not allowed to create threads and may only reply to threads that specifically permit it in the OP"

And in the same breath, you should clearly define what "maleposting" is in the rules, is it a ban on men in general? is it a ban on identifying as a man in a post?

Keep the rules clear cut and the gray area as thin as possible.

I'm all for limiting male posts (and even outright banning them) if it keeps the quality of the board high, but rules have to be absolutely clear with as little room for interpretation as possible, otherwise it just gives a board owner room to arbitrarily ban people they disagree with.

You should clearly define what maleposting is, preferably with examples.

maybe it's very easy for girls to understand, but men, against whom this rule is made in the first place, most likely will not, and will not understand why things that are allowed on, say, /v/, aren't allowed here.

This is exactly why rules need to be clear and understood only in one way.
