I understand why they feel that way, but again it's just a matter of perspective. I'm as big of a fuckup as any, but I don't hate anyone for putting me in any situation. These are personal shortcomings. Hate is a choice.
But, there is something that does need to be said, and the fact is that:
1) men are biologically and socially disposable, as you hinted at. That's pretty much a given. It's more depressing than anything, and probably fuels many people's 'hate'.
2) men have trouble keeping friendships and are statistically more lonely than women past the teenage years. I know because I live it. Isolating myself just led to a feedback loop where I got worse at socialization and relating to others. What doesn't help is that I have to 'work' at socializing. Others can do it effortlessly, I can't, and have to think about how to navigate people. It's tiring.
I'm not a social scientist but I think these two can be backed up with quick google searches. The "men are lonelier" than women especially.

I used to be one of these types untill I got motivated into getting my shit together (still ongoing) the best I can describe it as is, when you're younger women have far higher social value than men, add to that the fact that if you aren't one of the alpha males or a chad then you're going to be sidelined naturally as a weaker man. This leads to bitterness and a feeling of hopelessness which leads to a burning resentment of women and men who do better than them. I understand where they are coming from because I was there, but I don't buy their excuses for not fixing it, I was able to drag myself out of that hole, start eating better and go to the gym, those two things alone will give a large boost in testosterone levels and that will boost your confidence and make you look better. But most of these robots will make endless excuses rather than realise that they have a problem they need to fix. The old phrase "man up" really applies. Really I think the worst part of it for robots is that they know they are fuckups and hate themselves for it.
That said, this is all from my personal experience and will differ from robot to robot but I think the general trend will remain the same. I should also point out that I haven't "made it" yet but my T levels are up nicely, I've lost a good bit of fat and put on visible muscle mass. Yes it's taken 6 months of going to the gym 3 times a week and aches and pains from it. But fuck me it's been worth it.

let me clarify, that i mean the weight category of anorexia, ie very skinny, and not the mental health diagnosis. it can be safe, if you do it right. first off, if you can help it, don't get in the habit of "purging". the stomach acids dissolve tooth enamel and your teeth will start falling apart. i'm not an expert in this area, as i'm a beefy guy. i just know it's what i find attractive, and i can tell you how my ex did it from an outside observer's perspective. my ex kept a weight of around 115 without drugs or anything fancy. she just didn't eat much. she didn't starve herself, she just ate very small portions. meals & snacks were all included, varied diet, etc. just in miniature. and when she thought she was getting too fat, she'd start going for runs. cardio (jogging, running) is where you'll burn all your fat. you can make the cardio more efficient if you put on muscle mass, but if you're at 200lbs, you probably already have all the muscle mass you need. you probably don't want to have so much muscle that when the fat's gone you look like manly. don't take things too far and become emaciated (the stereotype you think of when someone says "anorexic" - think the detention camps in poland when they were liberated at the end of WWII). when the body is emaciated, it has started to cannibalize itself. that's when it becomes unhealthy. i can't give you great tips, but that's a general overview. if you want good info about it, maybe lurk 4chans /fa/. they usually have a /thinspo/ thread. don't get obsessed. just lose some weight. for reference, pic related is what i think is uber-hawt, very skinny, but not to the point that everybody wants to check you into a ward and stick an IV in your arm. if you don't like the gym, go to your nearest park for a run. treadmills suck ass and are demoralizing anyway.

Don't purge, it's just going to make the weight loss harder. I've never been that fat, but it's all about metabolism.
