I dated a musician once. Can't reccomend it. Artsy people break your heart the most beautiful and hurtful way. They will tell you forever that you're special and inspiring but never tell you the reason why you're not enough. Why they decide against you. And this will hurt you forever. And a year might pass or two and you will never find someone who touches your soul that much. No words sound better than him playing the bass guitar. No smile shines brighter than when he distorts voice through his MIDI magic.
And then you realize that he's not around and never quite was and that this void inside you will never ever get filled up again.

You deserve this pain for having picked an "artist" as your crush.
While secretly hating themselves, they often end up being artists by never sticking with anything in their life, like a real job or a project, so why would they stick with you?
The only good artists are the ones who mix their art with science (like photographers) but even then you're treading on needles.

So, people roaming aimlessly in labour are the loyal ones, then?

If i'd say so myself, yeah.
You want to pick a partner like it was a job assistant:
>can you trust him?
>does he seem interested?
>is he looking for something stable?

Here's the problem with musical guys - they are dedicated to their music (obviously) so be prepared for being 2nd to band practice. I married a music guy and well I inadvertently yoko'ed that group. He does solo stuff now though…

Does he write songs for you? I'm not a "writer" but I am decent with words, and I'd write poems and things for my partners in the past.
