It seems original livestream is shutting down on July 9th. Everythings moving to vimeo, which you have to pay extra to stream with their service. It seems more like a move to appeal to big business as new livestream costs $42 a month to use it..

I know theres a good amount of people that still use it. I just hope a good alternative will pop up soon. I had a lot of good memories with the site. It's just depressing that this is happening

Several months ago Vimeo acquired Livestream and used the latter's resources to create Vimeo's own livestreaming service. In other words, Vimeo is slowly swallowing Livestream.

They practially say if you don't pay you can't use their service
