They probably haven't fixed the bug I reported a year or two ago.
The .gif file format has an actual resolution, and a virtual resolution. The virtual resolution usually matches, but it is used to define a floating space on a webpage that is reserved for the image file, before the actual rest of the data is loaded.
If you have a hex editor, you can set it to something ridiculous like 2000x2000 in size, even though the image itself could be like 30 bytes in size and a 1x1 pixel. It fucks up the display really hard, by making every single place your avatar show up take a huge amount of space.
I made it so big that it would cover the comment button, so trying to click the comment box would just redirect you to my page
