I can agree that there are issues with racism that can't be separated from the community of the Republicans, or at least conservatives to some degrees. However, I disagree with blanketing the entire party and everyone that may be associated with it as racist.

The wall meets a confusing point between being viewed as an option that goes too far from the conservative side (even though both Clinton's and Obama advocated for increased boarder security and physical barriers like walls or barriers), and not really having a better way to mitigate illegal immigration. The liberal approach has been to reduce enforcement and increase mass citizenship based on emotional appeal and the arguement that since there are so many (undoubtedly because liberal policy made it all the easier for them to come in and stay), that now it would be too hard to enforce the laws.

The problem with illegal immigration is not so much Americans loosing jobs. They do, but it's largely for low skill menial jobs. The real problem with it is the human rights concern for their treatment while crossing and while hiding.

The amount of people left out on the trail to die and picked up pales in comparison to the bodies of those who are picked up to late. There is a high mortality rate for those crossing. Even worse is the rape rate for the women and children crossing. 80% or higher of the women crossing will be victims of rape or other forms of sexual assault. And age is not a limiting factor in those statistics.

Then once their on US soil, a new problem begins. Sweat shops, indentured servitude with either no way out or nearly impossible requirements set for them to get out of their new found slavery, if not forced into sex slavery outright.

Human trafficking has found a safe home in the previous policies that turned a blind eye to enforcement.

Even for those who aren't bound to those harsh of conditions, the next step up is still a slap in the face. What I means is all the shit work that the pro-illegal immigrant advocates sight as a reason for people not to take concern over this issue for SHIT WORK for SHIT PAY. The bulk of dirty jobs with back breaking work that they toil over for long hours for garbage pay.

And these are the same advocates demanding a $15 minimum wage. But they're pleasantly pleased with the illegals earning well under the current minimum wage with no legal protection for their safety or working conditions.

This is inhuman and shows the worst of what can be offered for the uneducated hiding in the shadows of our society.

The next step up is where the financial concerns come into play. Because the more well connected or those with more knowledge on how to exploit the good will of our people, are those who get their free health care (not a plan, they just can't be turned away and the tax payer picks up the bill), free housing, and government assistance. The advocates argue that they can't get the housing or government assistance, yet they do. From food stamps to social security, they have found the ways to defraud the system, even if they have to resort to identity theft.

When those methods of getting by aren't enough, the next problem is the criminal activity. Theft, muggins, and drug related crimes or support through gang affiliations. If the heat gets to much for them, then there's always the fall back of the nearest sanctuary city. Another issue in and of its own.

Are these the problems with all illegals crossing the boarder? No. Of course not. That has never been the argument of any legitimate political advocate or actual elected figure.

There is real concern to update and expedite the legal immigration process. But the faults that exist within the existing system bare no reason to ignore it and demand exceptions for those who are the product of laws the government had refused to enforce.

The Muslim issue is grossly over blown. Even the ban itself that was presented wasn't a Muslim ban. If it was, ALL MUSLIMS would have been banned. A handful of countries with broken governments that are ripe with internal struggle and destabilized regions by rebels or other militant groups, that collectively represent somewhere in the area of less then 10% of the Earths Muslim population, is not a Muslim ban.

I would also say that Trump and his administration should not have relied on the intel assessments from Obama's administration. The lack of intel from the entire middle eastern region has been woefully degradated because of how eager Obama was to pull as much out of the area. The pulling out, which lead the the rampant rise of ISIS and the fall of any hopes for legitimate change in the area. The economy, in regards to Trump taking office, has shown improvement. Hundreds of thousands of jobs have been added since it was announced that he won the election as well as going into him swearing in and up to the current day as well. Billions of dollars have already been pledged and plans put in place for investing into new business ventures in America and for Americans. It's hard to argue that the economy either hasn't improved so far, or shows no signs of future improvement.

The minimum wage argument has one fatal flaw in it's design for countering the greed of super rich. That fatal flaw is that the super rich are greedy. Right? Okay, so lord willing the minimum wage is pumped up to $15. You will see a rise in the amount of well paying jobs, true. You will also see a dramatic drop in jobs across the board. As soon as the super rich see that they will have a drop in profits because payroll went up, they will counter that with slashing jobs and downsizing. People and their well being is not their concern. The profit margin is their concern. Personal help and staff will be replaced with automated machines, self pay systems, and kiosk with touch screens that will answer your questions and help the customer. Business not held by the super rich will down size to the point of in-sustainability and fold up a collective house of cards. And that's only assuming that other business won't just shut down everything local and move over seas where they can legally pay a hell of a lot less and maintain those high profit margins that keep their greedy bank accounts nice and green.

Bottom line, you can't force success or wealth. The government cannot mandate that it's population be gamefully employed with fat paychecks.

And the additional fallout is how everything you need or want to buy will fallow the rise of income. And with the higher cost for manning, you're likely to see the that cost actually rise over the margin of wealth. Todays $8 minimum wage and $3 gallon of milk becomes tomorrows $15 minimum wage and $7 gallon of milk.

A higher minimum wage sounds wonderful, but it can't be streamlined across all industries for all business in every state and allow for the markets and economy to keep up with it. Each market within it's own region would have to be approached differently to balance out for the total population, cost of living based on luxury retail values, infrastructure, and a long list of other considerations. This can be done much easier on a state or district/county level and much better results.

Education is mess. Federal guidelines with Common Core, No Child Left Behind, the Teachers Unions regulations, and limited options for schooling has wrecked the previous higher standards the US once had.

Common Core has possibly the worst teaching methods and styles I've ever seen. Common sense gets you wrong answers in Common Core.

No Child Left Behind just pushes students who didn't reach the minimum requirements to graduation onto the next grade up to the next grade, regardless of their deficiencies in knowledge that only gets harder in the next grade they weren't ready for.

The Teachers Unions started out with a noble cause, to protect the teachers and provide better education for the students. It has since been corrupted into an organization that requires teachers to pay into the Union, even if they're not a part of it, and pays itself to lobby the government. They lobby to keep the policies in place that allow for teachers to stay where they are, so they can continue to pay into the Union, and the cycle repeats, even though the quality and standards have failed to improve.

Increasing the options for parents to send their students to will drive schools to compete to provide the best options and opportunists for the best price. If you have the option to send your child to one school that offers more person schooling time with with smaller classes and reflects a graduating GPA average of 3.8 vs another school that has larger classes with less person schooling and can only manage a graduation GPA average of 3.2... the choice is going to be pretty obvious. The current system prevents teachers with tenure to be fired for poor results with their students. They're locked into that position. How well they preform no longer matter. And that's a bullshit system. New and better teachers should be able to replace them and allow the school to maintain the highest possible standards.

Police corruption... I think a lot of that is blown out of proportion. However, there are obvious issues that not even I can ignore. What all it's going to take to provide better training, manning, or oversight... there's so much that needs to be improved I honestly don't know where to start.

As for Health Care, I'll have to be honest with my unpopular opinion. I don't think Health Care should be mandated and I don't believe it is a human right to have the government provide. I don't believe it should be any more then car insurance, house insurance, or life insurance. A persons health is their personal responsibility.

If you want to compare it to the already in place services that are socialist based, like Social Security or Welfare, then okay. Though I would say that everyone pays into their own Social Security and Welfare is a well intentioned system that is not structured properly and has lead to a Welfare State with people so dependent on it that they maintain a lower standard of living to keep it.

Regardless of my own personal oppinon. I would support a Universal Health Care Plan that is provided by the government for all US citizens, provided that it provides all the coverage needed for everyone, and is actually affordable. The current Affordable Health Care Act was not that at all. So much of it was intentionally designed to fail. Even the website when released was coded in such a way that after it was examined by various tech savvy specialist, they concluded that it was coded and incorrectly that the errors they found would have to have been put intentionally, given how incorrectly they were put in.

Did it save a lot of lives? Yes. Did it help a lot of people who would not have been ensured without it? Yes. No one is saying that's a bad thing. The bad things were:

You couldn't keep your doctor as promised.

You couldn't keep your original plan as promised.

The cost went up instead of going down.

For many, even not paying in couldn't save them as they faced the financial penalty in their taxes.

The Pharisaical companies and providers who were involved in the structuring the act mandated that they set their own prices with no option to negotiate.

In the end, cost and quality went down with medical and insurance companies who helped setup the ACA increased their profits hand over fist.

But for the bottom line, actual racism and discrimination is not as common and wide spread as you think. The KKK and Neo-Nazi's are far few and between. Those are the people that practice actual racism.

The bulk of people saying not to take in refugees is not by default a racist act. The funding needed to support them, a healthy economy for them to take part in, and lack of property vetting to ensure that those coming in won't pose a threat to the communities they are brought into, those are all legitimate concerns.

The money needed to take care of one refugee here, can take care of 3 or 4 if done so in the area they originate from. It also prevents acts of violence from both sides by avoid a clash of cultures, often with very conflicting views and standards. In the case of Muslims, very anti-gay beliefs, restricted rights and rolls of women, and even major conflicts of what is deemed acceptable behavior in regards to forcing women or children into sex. Again, I'm not saying these are the issues with ALL of them, but it doesn't take a majority to cause a riot or create violent conflicts that get the innocent hurt on both sides.

For illegal immigration, we want the laws to be followed and enforced. Having a family and being a victim of circumstance may be grounds for consideration, but should not be the means for mandating citizenship. If you can't stand the problems associated with the conflicts of people crossing illegally, advocate for a dramatic change in the laws concerning it. Or call to obliterate all laws regarding immigration and advocate for open boarders and/or laws that state as soon as you enter the US you are automatically a citizen. But at the very least, don't just move to ignore the laws that create the hardship for illegals in the first place.

As for the actual racist. The people who hate people just on their skin or racial background alone... Fuck'em. They're pieces of human waste, and we don't want or support them either. Crime has to be combated as to ensure the overall safety and prosperity of a community and it's people. The judicial process and imprisoning system is exclusively a power held by the government.

Health care does not carry the same weight in value of the concerns of what personal health can do in terms of damages to a community. However, if a public health concern does develop that a community cannot handle, the state steps in with the CDC and or other department and or body of government and they take over to protect the community/population.

A person with a cold, a broken bone, or some other ailment does not constitute increased taxation to provide a service for universal protection.

The purpose of government programs is to provide universal and equal protection from commonly shared threats of which it would be considered unreasonable for one to do on their own.

Even as it is, the ACA is best used by most when it's not being used as insurance to protect themselves with. That is to say, they do not buy into in case they need coverage. Those who benefit the most from it avoid it and pay a lesser fine come tax season, and the when something catastrophic happens, that immediately buy in and reap the full rewards. That is not the government providing health insurance, that is just health care. It's the equivalent of buying car insurance after you have an accident to get coverage for your now damaged car.

Other issues have flooded the entire health care industry that have caused for unnecessary rises in cost.

-Frivolous lawsuits and/or exorbitantly high payouts which leaded to higher insurance cost for the doctors and hospitals, which raised the price for services.

-The misappropriation of powers for student loan companies and universities to monopolize the process and raise cost for their own benefit. That lead to higher student debts that require higher pay upon hiring and raises to prevent unwanted turnover rates for the hospitals.

-Big Pharma and the drug markets profit driven medications that favor treatment over cures.

-Even things as simple as instate restrictions for insurance.

Regardless, like I posted earlier, I don't support the idea of Federally mandated health care. However, if it is to happen, I'd rather it be an option you can buy into, and at the very least have actually be affordable and not designed to maximize the profits for the companies and corporations that the government goes through.

Socialized medicine always damages the quality of service and lengthens the wait periods for specialized medical services and operations. Thus, the US still has a viable market from those with money but live in other countries with socialized medicine, traveling over to get the treatment they need to avoid death.

And that is this is the problem we run into. A system of health care where everyone can afford it. Or, a system of health care where people can't get the services they need, even if they could afford it. Neither option available can give us both.

Also, one question, in your honest opinion. In terms of adding or increasing the level of power or authority to services or programs under government control, such as the police and judicial system, the educational system, the internet, internal national security, or public works services, what makes you think the Federal Government won't outright fuck it up?

So, instead of paying 100$ for a basic procedure, they pay 1$, so the hospital charges 10000 for that procedure, so that the insurance pays the 100$.

And this is ignoring the massive issues with pharmaceuticals.

The whole system needs a revamp, and health insurance is not the solution. Health insurance is part of the problem.

I'd agree he hasn't drained the swamp. Some have been removed, not all, and I'll admit some he allowed to stay on or brought on are not great choices.

Personally, I never supported the idea of a full blown "Muslim Ban". I even thought it was a stupid move to make, poor phrasing... debatable, but not a debate I would care to take on or defend. However, what he watered it down to later on, as it was more focused on to just certain regions where proper intelegance on threat identification methods were lacking (which is needed for proper vetting), I did support. Get the intel we need and work out better relations with any "proper" or accountable and trusted government to set the standards and requirements for country to country access/visitation and/or request for citizenship. Get that done and I wouldn't have a concern for who we let in from those regions.

Note* My concerns are not based on race or religion. It's the concern that not creditable intelligence agency (US or international) can say that proper vetting and sourcing can be conducted, or that sufficient intelligence exist.

For Hilary, no, he didn't pull the authoritarian card and just toss her in jail, because a promise is a promise. I think he did the smart thing and said that he wouldn't be focusing on. There were already federal investigations for her already in progress. Why add more fuel to the DICTATOR FIRE by publicaly eliminating his rivals with his new found political power?

Obamacare is still in place. Paul Ryan either had no clue on what to put together to have a plan to sell to his fellow party members, wanted it to fail to damage Trump, or to some level there was an agenda to put something together that they knew would fail on purpose. Why? Well, the ACA is only going to degrade more and more as time goes by. Soon, when it's weight has grown so heavy that no can afford it, use it, or accept it... just about anything they bring to the table will have a much easier time to get passed. That's shitty, but also smart if they want something more favorable to their interest that wouldn't have passed on the first try.

The Syria situation has no good position. Do nothing and try to work with the middle east as it goes unchecked. Go to war hoping to establish something that isn't a shit hole that's struggling to see if it can dig itself in to a deeper shit hole or if they can fill the hole with enough bodies so that need to dig is no longer needed. Or, like which I'm hoping, but probably wrong... Give a display of power that limits the bloodshed sets the boundaries needed to work out something diplomatically. Though I'm sure the US will be involved with a push to oust Assad. No idea what can be done at that point.

As for being another Clinton. I disagree. Trump is pretty clear on his positions, or at least his mindset and approach to them. While at the same showing that he can work with others on some level of give and take. Hilary had two positions on many of her key talking points. One public for the people, one private for whoever was funding her. Otherwise, everything else she came out for was a position she reached from researching focus groups. The times Trump did lie, it was over stupid shit. Little stupid things. Hilary lied about her "Long history" of holding a position, even when she's on record of the complete opposite. Benghazi, Travelgate, Snipers at the tarmac, being against gay marriage, and her private servers. A huge difference in scale.

But, as much as I dislike Clinton, it was her views and standings on polices that I couldn't get past. I won't say that Trump had a wide spread of policies that I could break down into different talking points that celebrate. I did at least agree with his mentality and direction. Less government, less restrictions, pushing back more power to the state level, things like that.

There's a lot point and counter point to go back on. Very little can so easily pointed out as concrete. Even harder to do so when he's not even passed his first 100 days.

We'll have to see where it all goes.
