Lol nobody bitches more in art than furries, second only to furry artists. "Waaah this community is fully of bitchy, socially-retarded crybaby adults who don't appreciate my hard work and only care about sex!" Maybe you should have done more research into what furries are actually like, before approaching your "commissions" like they're actual art commissions.
You're drawing porn. Clean and simple. Stop seeing furry art as "art," and accept that you're just drawing cartoons for a majority of unbathed, lowlife guys in the Midwest to jack off to the night that you message them "Finished!" The only one at fault is the person who goes into the furry world and thinks they're the modern day da Vinci whenever they get a commission.
Very few people pay for furry drawings to admire your artistic vision and acknowledge the time and effort you put in. They pay you just because your pictures had a style that is sexually attractive to them. Look at Jasonafex, Aaron, and that one guy who draws huge muscles with disgustingly thin calves and forearms (Kuyo or something?) People here are so fucking retarded that I could search Google for "fursuit delayed morgage twitter" and probably find at least 3 of the dumbest fucks out there who pay for suits instead of their house. Fuck proportions, fuck detail, just make it "your style-ish" enough and make sure to draw all the edgu, stupid body features they want, and you're making bank. "Furries see moving pictures like the cavemen saw fire."
No offense, but you complaining about this is like the intolerable guy working at McDonald's who complains that he has to deal with idiots who don't treat him with the respect he deserves. After all, he's not a McDonald's worker, he's a ~cook~. Just like how you're totally not just drawing fetish porn, but rather, you're an ~artist.~ There is a reason that guy is flipping burgers and dealing with ghetto Latina women complaining about how he didn't give enough fries, and there's a reason why you work long, hard hours and have to deal with people like the ones you described. It's because...(drumroll)
Neither of you are professionals! WOOOO!!!
Otherwise he would be working at an actual restaurant and you'd be making real art and getting commissions for normal people.
Don't expect to be treated better than shit when that's the quality of your work experience so far.
