It isn't as though there's visible porn and people having sex everywhere. Unless you go into private room parties or open the black books in the dealers' den, it's not that sexual in any way that a kid would understand. We just think it is because we look around and know that everyone there looks at porn, reads X-rated stories, has kinky sex, draws porn, fondles each other behind closed doors,, etc., even though none of them are doing anything like that out in the open.

I'm guessing it did happen, sort of. A couple of douche-canoes thought it'd be funny to poke fun at some kid, and did so. I've certainly met people at cons, though not often, who are of the "trolling is the highest and most laudable art ever created by mankind, and every person does at least something that can, and therefore must, be mercilessly trolled" variety one also finds on places like Reddit.
