Otherkin isn't a "furry" thing. It doesn't even require the person to even BE a furry at the same time. It's more like a weird transsexual thing, except it's trans-species. This is separate from furries because furries are into fictionalized, anthropomorphic animal-people as characters (aka: animals with human traits); otherkin believe themselves to be an odd reverse variant, where they are a human with animal traits, almost always a real extant species, not a character.
