I'm amazed that Nanachi turned out as good as she did, considering the mangaka was pretty much held at gunpoint by the editors and forced to make a "cute mascot character" to revive interest in the series. It worked.
But yeah, I'd totally fuck her in the fluffy butt and pretend she's a boy sure. Who wouldn't?

Despite the toilet humor and frequent references to naked lolis and robo-shota dick (that tends to scare away the normies), it's an amazingly immersive and compelling anime, with gorgeous art (almost Ghibli-tier) and soundtrack, that will sucker you in with the cute character designs and optimistic tone, and then drown them in suffering. It's pretty much everyone's pick for best anime of 2017, except for those elitist manga-only fags who bitch about the pacing. The biggest downside is simply that it's not long enough: 13 episodes. You get to the end thirsty for more, only to find out that the manga is only 16 chapters longer. Second season never.
