For anyone planning to move or bug-out before things start really collapsing hard, I'll recommend survival tips for moving:
If you have enough money, go ahead and buy a rural homestead. If not, find a small town that is at least 30 miles away from any major city limit, with lots of land in-between. Preferably 40+ minutes away from city limit. Look for a small town with a population of 2,000 or under. Don't move somewhere that has 10,000 and growing because anything over 10,000 attracts the (((fleas))) and they'll subvert and upend those towns within a couple decades. You want something pretty much off-radar which not alot of people even know exist, a little dot on a state map will do fine but visit them first. I've seen some tiny towns with less than 20 pop and many of them are pretty dilapidated, however you could likely get a home around there for 20K, which if rural enough is a good bet to escape. If your looking for anything extremely fancy in a rural area you would be paying top dollar (nice family homesteads are at least 250K and that would be a good deal).
Regardless what happens the next election, America is going to collapse, rest assured, be armed, fortify your entry-points, prepare to weather the storm. If they come for you, make it count, reduce the surplus population.
