This present can be whatever you choose to make of it. Yeah, it's that powerful. It's that kind of present. You don't have to do anything, but you may get more enjoyment out of the present if you choose to do something with it. You don't have to go anywhwere, or leave where you're at, but you cannot enjoy the present anywhere else unless you do. If you're just sitting around waiting for the present to do something, it definitely will; but many wise individual interactions with the present have proven, almost axiomatically, through personal experience, that more vibrant and richer enjoyment of the present can be had with more participation and interplay.
And Who Doesn't Want to ENJOY The PRESENT?
Well, nobody I want to hang out with, day in and day out, that's who!
That's a fact.
Yet, that's exactly what I've been choosing to do, for quite some time!
WHY?
Because of the addictio/n/. That's why.
Don't play like you don't know what I mean.
We're all "addicted" i/n/ here, all 4 of us, and we know it.
And the atmosphere has become dow/n/right /n/egative, and we k/n/ow it.
Now, at the risk of sounding like I'm going off script pretty unscripted here, faggots!, I'd like to say that back in the day I used to like to spread a lot of negativity on the present, and heavily drench it in alcohol, rage and hopelessness. I fucked with everyone on /n/, Killcen most of all, crab-posted, did the bump & slide, and got my jollies off by being a general irritant and Erisian i/n/fluence on /n/. But, yeah, about a year ago I chose to see alcohol for the poisonous influence it is on the present, for everyone, and I chose to stop letting it influence my own interactions with the present, as much as possible. Now, I cannot, nor would I want to, inhibit others' choices to interact with the present in any way they see fit, and mix as much alcohol into their relationship with the present as they want, and while their behavior may influence how I interact with the present, I still retain the freedom to interact with the present in my own ways – which no longer include alcohol. I have 'friends' in my life, and I include (sac) and Killcen in that august body, who seem, like I once did, to not be able to see that it is their relationship with alcohol that colors the present with so much negativity, not the negativity of the present that requires the application of alcohol to it – but I digress…
Y'all know alcohol is bad, mmm'kay?
Still, as an experiment sometime, you might want to see if you can get any more enjoyment out of the present without adding alcohol for a lengthy period of time. Now, I know, lengthy experiments are not on anyone's "High-Priority' List", so how about let's start with a smaller experiment. If you're not having fun, you probably want change, right? But I think we can all agree that
NOT ALL CHANGE IS CREATED EQUAL.
So, what kind of change do you want? Do you know?
Let's start there.
I know the kinds of changes I have chosen to begin implementing in my own life.

Probably /n/ot. If that were going to happen it would have happened years ago.

Let's face it. Killcen? The drunkenposting 'fake' Killcen on /n/ as of late is not the Killcen that I choose to spend my days interacting with. I much prefer the Killcen that is working with the folks over on >>>/freedomzine/
Also, both Killcen's need to be convinced they were wrong about the whole "10,000 Lurkers" thing, and there is no better way to prove it than to conduct a little experiment. So, that is what I propose. An experiment…
I don't want to see the e/n/d of /n/, nor do I want to see it destroyed, or turned into more of a stinking pile of shit than it already is. I just think that a little experiment is in order, and that this may just turn out to be the most refreshing bath this place has see/n/ in quite some time! Some clea/n/ing is definitely in order. nothing against you, mod – this is not your fault
So, I propose that all 4 of us [Johnny, Killcen, (sac) and I] spend the next week fulfilling our addictions to freely post whatever we want on the >>>/freedomzine/ board for one week, and see what happens to /n/ in the meantime.

The "REAL" "Killcen" and the "REAL" "Johnny Neptune" have already long ago agreed, and will be, with me, bailing on /n/ for one week as an experiment, so pretty much it is just up to the two drinkers – the 'fake' Killcen and (sac), to decide if their /n/egativity is worth more than their freedom to express themselves with authenticity and integrity in a forum that is more solution-oriented than has been, imho, too-heavily promulgated on /n/ as of late.
