Poor Johnny Neptune sounds like he's still sore about me using `youtube-dl` to download the video he used to be proud of, constantly posting it here, there, and everywhere, but he has recently made private… I wonder why? I then helped him publicize it a few days ago, reposting it on BitChute, and maybe that's why he's mad, but I doubt it. That is why I refuse to use newer Operating Systems. I use an older Linux OS and an older 'reversed engineered' Windows (that is to say, all the bloatware and default spyware removed from System directories as well the CLSIDs gutted from the registry). I also use tools to monitor PID and TID stacks in real time (real geeky paranoid shit!!) and the second I detect a non-system function (not being run by me) out goes the internet connection and I find out what the hell is going on. That rarely happens but it has before. But that article is correct, for the last 10 years or so every OS monitors and logs everything you do. I proved it a year ago on /pnd/ and the feds slid that thread to high hell. Oh well. I know how to get around it, and that's reverse engineering the older Operating Systems and using multiple systems for various activities to decompartmentalize. In short, if you are using a computer, make sure YOU control the computer, not the other way around. And make sure any activity you want hidden is on a 100% OFFLINE system (older system) without any WiFi card or bluetooth built-in. I tried an old Apple computer and I found something similar 10 years ago in the console, it was trying to connect to an apple domain. Anyhoot the only reason it was failing over and over to connect to some remote domain is because I took the bluetooth and Wifi card out, removed the camera as well the mic and had it 100% offline. The computer was designed to notify Apple about EVERYTHING on that system…. that was 10 YEARS AGO!!!

I use several newer OSes, but build my own hardened kernel, etc, and keep shit pared down to just what I need. I trannyboot the BIOS with Coreboot or use Libreboot if I can, and remove the binary blobs, and yeah, I use tools too…
Compartmentalization is definitely the answer though; which is why I'm just now getting into Qubes OS, which is awesome, and really teaches you about compartmentalization.
