Hey /fit/ im new to exercise and im feeling thigh pain is this normal how long should I take a break for or do I exercise through the pain? It hurts getting up and down. Im 22 and 5'11 and 141.1 pounds. This is my routine: 20 push ups, 20 sit ups, 20 squats.

I should mention im doing bodyweight exercises in conjunction with eating less because just eating less hast gotten rid of my gut so I added some exercises.

To be clear when you say pain do you mean a burning feeling, a sore ache or a sharp stabbing pain?

If it's stiffness and delayed muscle soreness, then take your reps down. Grease the groove a little.
