So, I'm starting a new job. It's the night shift full time! Can I maintain my gains, or is the nocturnal sleep schedule going to slowly kill me?

Draft up a new programme for your new schedule. You'll be fine once you adapt. Getting decent sleep will be the hard part. Not just light, but daytime activity. Also getting enough sunlight might be an issue at certain times of the year. Training before bed might help you sleep. If you get any CNS issues, then lower the intensity of the training for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, I'm gonna power through. I worked the night shift before, almost 10 years ago.. But back then I didn't lift, just drank and smoked all the time, so the whole thing was a blur.

Fellow thirdsgift fag here. It’s doable but takes a lot of focus. Gotta sleep and plan ahead.

I do my cardio and work outs after work and sleep in the afternoon.

Gotta stop drinking caffeine after work.

Meal prepping helps since the temptation for junk food is greater for us night owls.

Just stick to a plan and you’ll make it.

I’m pretty fit and am pushing 40 and have worked 3rd for almost a decade.
